Shower block need urgent update

This was the 5th time we stayed at this site in the past 27 months when crossing the channel. It is perfect for such purposes but the shower block near the ferry pitches is in dire need of refurbishment. The (mens) shower I used that morning had very poor water pressure and the toilet would not flush properly. Whilst showering I could hear person after person having difficulty flushing the toilets, there is no wonder some just give up and leave them dirty. Come on CC at £23 a night that I paid I expect something that at least works properly and these are repeated comments by many people about the same sort of problems on Club sites. Is it water saving initiatives you might ask? Thank goodness the staff keep them clean! Otherwise and excellent site with helpful wardens

Lovely overnight stay

Lovely overnight stay, clean facilities, staff helpful and bus stop outside to Canterbury which was a lovely plus. Not far from Dover Ferry service. Definitely use the site again.

Great site, clean with really helpful wardens

Just come back from a three night stay. Had a wonderful time. The site is spotless and the wardens go out of their way to help. Located near a great dog walk in Reindon Woods which has a lot of local historical facts to read on your way around. Great pub over the road offering great food. Site located within a short drive to Folkestone. Second visit and won't be our last.

Every time better

We have stayed at the Back Horse farm site on many occasions when either departing or arriving back in the UK using Euro tunnel. Only the last year we didn't find an accomodation but it has been our fault because we didn't book in time. As usual we found the site clean and tidy with staff eager to help whenever possible. We had to reluctantly leave the next morning to catch the tuneel and go home. But we hope to come back next year. Recommended to all members of the Club !!

Another overnight experience

We have stayed at the Back Horse farm site on many occasions when either departing or arriving back in the UK using Euro tunnel.  Recently, was such another occasion and regrettably we have not had the chance to stay longer.  As usual we found everything ship shape, neat and tidy and more so convenient.   Even when arriving late the Wardens have a good system for gaining egress.  On our last visit the Warden even rang us to make sure we were making progress despite the bad traffic. One day we'll get the opportunity to stay longer and explore the area further but until then we would not hesitate to recommend this site to any club members.

fantastic time

We had a great time on this site, we hadn't been before and was visiting a family friend. We booked for two nights but unfortunatley we broke down and had to spend our first night in the garage, we telephoned through to explain the situation and the staff were great and kindly charged us for one night instead of two. It was a clean and friendly site and we will be returning in the future.

Short Stay at Black Horse Farm Site

We had a short stay at the site, the staff were friendly and courteous. The site was clean smart and tidy. We had a serviced pitch that was excellent. We used the local bus service that was very convenient. We will stay again as it is well situated for the Lydden Hill Race Circuit.

Will definitely return

This was a last minute booking. I was hoping to get closer to Dymchurch, Ashford or Hythe, but this was the closest I could get. I wasn't disappointed, facilities were good and it's in a peaceful location.

Over night stay for early channel tunnel crossing

Our first stay at a club site, I booked this site because of its locality to the channel tunnel. Friendly and helpful staff. The ferry/Chunnel pitches are perfect. The pub opposite the site is recommended ( the mixed grill beat me - it's massive) We will use this site every time we travel to the continent as a stop over and plan to stay for a weekend to enjoy the local attractions.
