Weekend break.

My husband and I had a weekend break at Black Horse Farm, we found the staff very welcoming and efficient on arrival and we were promptly shown onto our hardstanding pitch. Our pitch was ample big enough for our caravan, awning and car. As dog owners we were pleased to find a pleasant dog walking area which was safely enclosed. We were very impressed with the site facilities which were immaculate throughout our stay. We had a very pleasant weekend, would definitely return for another visit and would also recommend to anyone who hasn't yet stayed there. Mr and Mrs Bundock

Perfectly placed when heading to Europe

This was our first time at the site but won't be our last. We were looking for somewhere near the ferry at Dover and this site is a 20 minute drive away. It is quiet, clean and the staff very friendly, they have specific pitches for those travelling on the ferry away from the main site so you don't wake anyone and when we came back from Europe late we decided to stay again, they texted us the code for the gate and it all was very easy. Nice little local shop opposite as well, certainly a great site to stop at if heading over on the ferry or back late.

first timer

As this was our first time out with a caravan we chose this site for the reviews it received, although we were only trying out the van,we were not disappointed as this was everything that we had hoped.Friendly welcome and close to coastal towns and amenities.Would recommend to anyone wanting a good site to stay at.

Good Winter Break

We have a motorhome and stayed on a serviced pitch (all sites should have them for Motorhomes). Good location and plenty of places to visit, Would stay again. The wardens were really helpful & friendly

Great Site Ideal for Ferries

What a great site, very friendly and welcoming wardens We pitched up on friday evening for one night. The site is quite spacious and full of rabbits all over the place it was good to see them. Lovely pub just down the road as well.

Lovely site for a long weekend

We have stayed here three times this year as its far enough away from home to make it feel like a holiday, facilities are great, always clean and well kept. Lots to do from walks, to railways, and Battle of Britain memorial at Capel le Ferne is well worth a visit, we spent a lot longer there than we expected! Local pub across road with live music on Friday nights too.  All in all a great site to visit, and like Arnie, "I (we)'ll be back"

Pity we only stayed 2 nights, will be back for more. Great site and position, very clean.  Close to Folkestone and Dover.  Went to Dover Castle for a whole day, absolutely brilliant. New War Time Tunnels open and great to visit.  Good food in Lyddon, The ??? Bell great food and service.  It is on the right when you drive direct from site. In short we will be back.

Helpful wardens

We were caught in very bad traffic on M25 and it looked as  though we would be arriving after 8.00. At 7.15 one of the team rang to check that we were OK and arrange to get us onto our pitch if we were late. This was really reassuring. As in previous years we have found the wardens really helpful.

Great Location lovely area

We have been using this site for a number of years before our annual crossing on the tunnel. However we have grown to love and enjoy the site. It has a brilliant location lovely surroundings where you can enjoy a peaceful stay. But I must say credit has to go to successive wardens who have made us very welcome and have been helpful in every way. We left uk last week after spending eight days in Black Horse and we were sorry to leave. The site is immaculate and because there is so much to see in the area together with short trips into Cantebury it is well worth coming back to,hopefully next year.
