Spent many a night at this site and it has always been welcoming and friendly.
The facilities are always spotless and the site immaculately maintained.
An ideal location to visit the various historic sites in Kent and the towns of Maidstone and Ashford.
Well worth a visit.
Good Location
Very good location for Leeds Castle and Maidstone, for a lovely walk along the river. But our biggest thank-you is for the wardens, we had a problem with our caravan and had to go home, we fixed the problem the following day and phoned the site and we where able to return, the wardens are so helpful and friendly they are a credit to the caravan club, the electric went off at about 8.clock at night and was back on within 10 mins. We plan to visit again.
Local go to site
Have stayed at this site many times it is our go to site. Easy access to visit various parts of Kent. Always a nice clean and tidy site. The wardens are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. Have more visits planned.
Too noisy for us.
We have stayed at Bearsted on several occasions and, although the nearby roads could be heard, were not overly disturbed by them. Our latest stay, however, was markedly different. The nearby A road and Motorway were very noisy indeed. Added to this was the Rookery on site. It was Springtime and they were, I think, nest building. The noise started at dawn and it disturbed both our sleeps. My husband is slightly deaf and an extremely sound sleeper and even he complained. We have decided, with regret, that we will not stay at Bearsted again.
A Very Well Kept Spotless Site
Stayed 5 nights mid April 2021 site very well kept and usual high standards of cleanliness with friendly wardens.

Good location and a nice place!
Second visit to the site, during covid restrictions and found the site to be very well run with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.
The site was spotless and nice and peaceful, though on this occasion only about 30% full. (previous visits was busier, but still peaceful!). There is a small amount of road noise, but not intrusive.
I do feel that maybe only 2 people in the facilities is a little low, maybe 3 or even 4 would be ok. However, had no issues when we wanted to use them.
Overall a couple of nice visits and will no doubt be visiting again!
Geocaching Trip
Stayed for 3 nights that we only booked on the day and the friendly staff sorted a pitch out for us no problem. Did not use the toilet block due to the current situation. We go out Geocaching and in doing this went around the area on our bikes, we liked the village green area of Bearsted .No real problem with the traffic noise, yes you hear it but not too bad . Getting in out the site on bikes can be a small problem due to traffic speed at the entrance.
Very Convenient
Like many of the other reviewers we stay here to visit family. It is an easy location to reach. The site is clean and tidy and the staff welcoming and friendly. Because of some lovely weather and the boom due to Covid 19 it was very busy even outside the main holiday period.
The site is, as has been said, near a main road and a motorway. I am an extremely poor sleeper and the noise did not keep me awake. It did vary so I suppose wind direction had an influence.
We were a bit concerned at the entrance or, more correctly, the exit being on a bend. This was not helped by over growth of hedges near the entrance which made exiting the site a little hairy!
Very peaceful and clean site
We arrived on a Friday evening in September for the weekend. The checkin was very friendly and welcoming. The site was very neat and tidy and the facilities were spotlessly clean the whole weekend. They have the band system in place for the facilities, limiting it to 2 people which I thought was very good. The wardens were really friendly. This site is not too far from home so great for us to have many short breaks in the future. It is very peaceful and relaxing. You can hear some traffic from the A20 but it wasn't disturbing to us. There is a small playground but it is shut this year due to covid so not really anything here for children at the moment. This site was a quiet relaxing break which we loved and we will definitely return.
Convenient location.
My wife and I have just spent a week at this site from 4th September which it seems coincided with the previous reviewer. I am happy say that our experience was somewhat different although I do agree that there was a lot of traffic noise from the A20 bordering the site and at night a general background hum from the M20 a little further distant but this is perhaps to be expected Based on its location. The noise from the adjacent property where ground works of some sort were underway was indeed unfortunate if you were unlucky enough to be at that end of the site but the blame cannot be laid at the door of the Club!
We received a warm welcome from the wardens upon arrival and a wave as they went about their daily duties. We were on a fully serviced pitch utilising our own facilities and did not use the toilet/shower blocks so I am unable to comment on them other than to say that full Corvid regulations were being observed. I would agree that the provision of only one chemical disposal point seems inadequate and I was surprised that one was not incorporated in the toilet/shower block.
The site’s location makes for ease of access from major routes and Is convenient for touring this area of Kent and its many attractions.
