One night stay

Have used this site on route to Eurotunnel and a stop over on our return journey - found wardens very helpful and pleasant. The facilities were clean and tidy.

Great for a close to home mini break

Have visited twice so far and will be visiting again in the next few weeks. The location is very close to the motorway exit which makes it very easy to find, great if you've had a long journey to get here. This also means you can hear some traffic noise but it's honestly not very intrusive and dosent spoil your stay. During my stay Operation Stack was in place and I recommend checking the southbound M20 carefully as I was stuck between junctions 7&8 for 3hrs! If in doubt jump of at J7 Maidstone and follow the A20 if approaching from London. Otherwise everything was perfect, I had a grass pitch this time and it was lovely, like having the perfect lawn that someone else had done all the hard work to!

Second Home

Bearsted is becoming a bit of a second home to us at the moment as we have friends who work and so can't travel far for long week ends. Fortunately Bearsted site is only half an hour away, and is always clean and tidy and welcoming, with friendly wardens. Plenty to do nearby with Leeds castle and Maidstone, but we just chill with friends on site.

Return To Bearsted

We try to visit Bearsted site at least once every month as our family live close by. In the year we have been with the club it has been our favourite site as everything is kept lovely and clean and organised, as we like it, the grounds are always immaculate and Terry and Roz have been so helpful especially when we started last year and basically knew nothing, Terry talked us through everything on our van and how to set everything up. A Great Site. A Boundy

Beautifully kept

Beautifully kept site,we stayed a week and it was spotless the entire time we we were there. Real credit to the wardens who work very hard and are genuinely lovely people who clearly love their site and their jobs!  Very easy access to site literally 2 minutes or less from the motorway (M20) 10 mins into Maidstone which has every thing you could ever need. Peaceful considering it's so handy for the motorway!

Spotless site

We stayed for 8 nights in July 2015 and found this site to be one of the most clean and helpful in 20 years of caravaning.  Two criticisms is TV signal poor and resulted in purchasing coax cable to fix into our serviced pitch stand and secondly it has no trees/shrubbery etc to stop it resembling a car park.  The road noise was minimal and I believe it is peoples tolerances regarding this.

First Time

We have recently returned from our first visit to this site. Along with some of the other reviewers, can only confirm their comments. The site is kept spotless by the resident wardens, Roz and Terry. We were also there during the height of operation stack on the M20, and the trouble that Roz and Terry took to accommodate all people who were affected by the closure of the motorway certainly was above and beyond. Although this was our first time on the site, it certainly will not be our last, and we will be returning next year.

A Real Assset to the Wardens, the Club and Tourism in Kent

Even though we only live 35 miles away, we regularly use this site as there is just so much to do within easy reach:- national Trust, Ehglish Heritage, Chatham Maritime & Docks, shopping, walking [try the river walk from Maidstone town centre to Allington Lock] trips to France....... Access to continental ports is really easy. The site works equally brilliantly as a destination and as a short stop "in transit". There is some road noise from the M20, but the upside of that is the excellent accessibility. Within 5 minutes you can be in the heart of some of Kent's most glorious countryside. When you arrive on site, your pitch is already allocated, so there is no worry and  rush. Pitch allocation takes into account your needs & length of stay - and there isn't a poor pitch on site!. The site and facilities are kept meticulously. The wardens whole focus is on ensuring your arrival, stay and departure are as easy & enjoyable as possible - the extra hours worked by Terry & Roz [the wardens] to help recent "victims" of Operation Stack was above and beyond - as is so much of their work.  Laundry and veg prep areas are the best going [ and no, you don't have to close the door while you are washing up, just make sure it's closed as you leave!]  Altogether a real credit to the wardens, the club & a real asset to tourism in Kent.

A credit to the Club

Ros & Terry run a tight ship without being 'in your face'. Nothing is too much trouble, they are a credit to the Club. Noise? The site is on the A20, close to the M20 and not far from the high speed rail line. There is generally a background traffic noise, worse in the rush hour and when it's wet (and as quiet as the grave during Operation Stack!). A site that's really well maintained (of the pitches 3 are sloping grass pitches that are in our view the best pitches on site), informal and welcoming.
