Excellent site, close to river taxis to Bristol City Centre. Good pub nearby and lots of activities going on, on the river. Highly recommended
One of our favourite CC sites
Absolutely love this site. Thankfully they didn't close it in 2015 and long may it stay open! Great little site, all hard standing pitches, right in the middle of the city. Good facilities on site, small shop (McColls - expensive!) just a 5 minute walk from the site and a great pub (the Cottage Inn) next door. The back gate opens out to the waterside which takes you alongside the river directly into Bristol. Lots to see and do in this wonderful city. OK it's not easy to get a pitch here but book early, we do! It's our little oasis in the city and we look forward seeing in 2017 here as we've managed to book a pitch!
First visit to Bristol
Enjoyed our first stay in the campsite, excellent location. Look forward to our return visit.

Perfect for exploring Bristol
Having a motorhome, we usually seek sites where there is a nearby pub/restaurant for dining. The bonus at this site is that there is one literally next door and a more exclusive venu within 10 minutes walk around the harbour.
We purchased the combined £20 ticket that permits unlimited travel on the tour bus and ferries for 48 hours, both having stops very close to the site.
The site is rather noisy, being near a city centre, but the easy access to the attractions fully compensates for this. The toilet block has background music - all sites should follow this example!
Quick visit!
We tried for two nights or so but could only get one. Booked solid again. Great site for visiting Bristol with good walking and cycling route and of course the famous water taxi.
Difficult to beat in fact, hence it is always booked solid.
Good luck on getting a booking. But do try. You might be lucky. Even a one night visit is worth the effort.
Great for discovering what Bristol has to offer
Great site for discovering Bristol which has a great deal to offer, use the yellow ferry which stops just outside the back gate. Don't rely on the 506 as it does not appear sometimes! Would not use this site for visiting further afield, it is quite busy with people just using it as a stop over on the way to somewhere else. Would stay here again, but only to visit Bristol. Did not use the car for a whole week, local people are very friendly and helpful, loved our time discovering Bristol. One small note, is the lack of areas for dogs to be walked, some people were using the site itself.

Perfect for Bristol city!
the site is in a great spot with easy access (15-20 mins on foot) to the city centre, SS Great Britain etc., with a ferry point outside the back gate right next to the pub! The site itself is well kept and great for Motor homes too, with gravel pitches and a simple one way system, the service point being easy to access near the toilet block, which is well kept and cosy on cold mornings like we had in April. Perfect for a couple of days doing the sights and for the Ikea trip on the last day! While not the quietest of sites, we found it fine. If you can, get a pitch away from the entrance-the front is near a busy main road, and a rowing/sailing club is next door
Great access to Bristol
Although this is not the kind of site you would visit for the landscaping, the staff do a great job in what is really quite a cramped site. The big advantage is that it is so near to the city, you can walk into town, around 20 minutes or get the water taxi which is a great way of getting around. Next to the site is a pub which serves food and you can sit outsideand watch what's going on around the river. If, like us you like a quiet place to lay your head this takes a bit of getting use to, but it is definitely a place we would return to.
Brilliant Bristol
Stayed at Baltic Wharf for two nights whilst my husband attended a conference. Fantastic location and easy access to the city centre. Finding the site proved problematic but that was entirely our doing.
Very helpful staff - couldn't be better - hope the site keeps going as it's always in demand.
Another Delightful Stay Assisted By Wardens.
This site again is one of our favourites. Location is spot on ideal for walking/cycling into the city or if that isn't appealing a water taxi stops just outside the site opposite "The Cottage Inn". Good value for money in The Cottage Inn regarding bar meals which are top quality. A massive big thank you goes to the 2 gentlemen wardens who helped us with our electrical fault ensuring we had electricity for our stay. Hope Bristol City Council change their mind regarding closing this site in the future.
