Great Location

Perfect location for exploring Bristol, once you've found it. We approached from the South where there are no tourist signs and the SatNav got completely confused by the multilevel roads. Handbook seems to think everyone comes from the M5.

City Centre Apartment

This weekend our caravan took on the role of a City Centre apartment here at Baltic Wharf. Apparently it is impossible to get a booking here looking at the CC online booking system. Must be all those non existent block bookers that cancel at a point after blocking out the bookings. Fortunately Christian & Anthony the wardens manage things very well and returned our call enquiring of availability a week earlier. We towed through the City Centre from the M32 as opposed to the route in the handbook, during Friday afternoons rush hour. Fortunately the area is known to us, so being in the correct lane at the correct time made the journey a doddle. On our way out it took 5 minutes to clear the city centre to the M32. An ideal site, meeting our needs to visit family and have friends drop in for a few drinks in the Cottage and after in the caravan. More cities need to embrace this kind of site here in the UK. We prepared the caravan for departure them walked to the Brunel Buttery for bacon butties and coffee, sat in the sunshine watching the steam engine shunting in one direction, rowing boats and paddle boards in the other. Walked back through the door from the wharf, hitched up and on our way home. A great site to visit Bristol.

Good all round site.

This is a well run and very efficiently managed site.Thankfully wardens are very efficient and try very hard to fit everyone in.When ever we have visited there are rarely any pitches free indicating the need for efficient management of the site. Thanks for fitting us in and well done to the Wardens. All the rest ticks the boxes of being a great City Centre site.

Brilliant Bristol

Baltic Wharf is a great site. Just one small gate away from the Bristol quayside. Bristol is a great place to explore, SS Great Britain just a short stroll away and well worth a look as is IKB's other local feature the Clifton Bridge. The town is buzzing with waterside bars and cafes. Wardens are both friendly and helpful and the site is a credit to them. We will be back. R&L

Great Location

Just spent 5 nights at this site, our second visit this year.It is fantastic,it will be a shame to lose it,that is why we have booked our next visit already. There is little to add to some of the comments previously made, but i would say the SS GREAT BRITAIN is very much an attraction to be seen, and your entry covers any subsequent visits within 12 months. The walk or the ferry into Bristol is very easy, both on the eye and underfoot. Friendly wardens kept everything spotless, thankyou. Roll on next time.

Amazing location

Stayed for 5 nights, fantastic location in city, walk out onto pathway around the floating harbour, lovely walk to city or take water taxi. Site immaculate, however had to book in January and was looking an awning pitch - disappointed to see some members in motorhomes had taken awning pitches and didn't need them, or is this just the booking system? Try the Pump House for food, one the the best meals had in a while.

Gem of a site

What an amazing site with helpful wardens (both regular and relief). It is like going into the secret garden when you enter from the wharf side. You can leave the car and use the water taxi, just walk into town or use either the sightseeing bus or local bus. Keep fighting to keep the site. Lots going on around city to keep all tastes occupied.

Happy at Baltic Wharf

We have just spent 5 nights at one of our favourite sites, the two gentlemen wardens were very pleasant and very helpful made the atmosphere very relaxing. The high standard of presentation was as good as always - please don't let this site go - we will be back.

A perfect location

Not your regular CC site: small, very little greenery, and not many awning pitches.  Some traffic noise if you are near the entrance, but all worth it for the city centre dockside location, and so much to do.  Great to have the "back" gate straight onto the harbour walk.  Friendly helpful wardens, spotless site, let's hope the club can keep for years to come.

not the best of welcomes.

over the years we have been coming to this site it been clean and welcoming.but as of late the welcome has gone and everthing seem a chore for the wardens.i tried to book a pitch for 2 nights but was offered 1 night on grass and 1 night on h standing.yet i thought this site was all h standing,so where was i going to go on the grass.google it theres no grass.the site was clean and tidy, but as others have said, wardens need to relax a little.they seem a little to sgt major ish.good place to visit bristol and surrounding areas.easy access
