We arrived and was settled within 30 mins. First time here, other campers on site were very helpful on arrival told us the best pitch to go on which we did. Millionare row they called it. Brilliant site friendliest ever. Great holiday. Warden and his wife were more than helpful during our stay. Amazing couple. Tripped the switch on the first night. 9.00pm Pouring of rain Wardens was there to help. So helpful. Clean well kept site. will be back. xx Thanks again. x
Lovely to return
It was a real joy to return to this site as we were here last year as relative newbies to the motorhome/Caravan Club life. The facilities are excellent and clean not to mention spacious. I loved the showers and the fact that when I went to use the toilet facilities that soothing radio was playing whatever time. I was very aware that the team at this site were very much together with what they were involved in and that I think they must be under so much pressure as they are all always on the go doing something or other to make everyone's stay an enjoyable and happy one. Both me and my husband have a soft spot for this site and are sure to return.
Beautiful site Ayr
Ayr is a lovely site and the staff are very welcoming. It's nice that you have a restaurant there as well. The only down fall is there isn't a facility for motor homes with getting rid of water and refilling other than that it really is a lovely site
Great Location
Great location close to Town Centre and near to Bus Stop.Lovely clean tidy site with pleasant Warden.Very handy for Ayr Racecourse.
So convenient!
Lovely site, very busy whilst were were there, but several people had come to Ayr for the races, very conveniently close by! Lovely site, very nice helpful wardens. Good walk into town and a really lovely cycle ride all the way along the prom and beyond. Centre of town a bit dilapidated, but unfortunately that applies to a lot of town centres these days. We had excellent weather which I think helped. Would revisit if in the area.

Short Break
We spent three nights on this very pleasant site. The wardens were friendly and helpful. The walk to Ayr is alongside the river. Culzean Castle and Burns Cottage (both National Trust for Scotland) are within easy reach by car. We also cycled to Troon via the Sustrans route.
Jess on tour again
We just popped in for 2 nights as we had a funeral to attend. Been several times to this site and it's just about handy for everything. Ayr is only a few minutes walk along the river bank and a few more minutes will get you to the beach. If you want to take the car there's plenty of FREE parking on the promenade. The site is well laid out and very well maintained but he toilet block, although clean enough, is a bit dated and could do with a make over.
Don't let that put you off because everything else is perfect. A quiet site just outside a City centre. Perfect.
Quiet peaceful site
Lovely quiet site, plenty to do roundabout. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Second time here and will definitely return next year. Toilets need a bit updating but are spotless and well maintained. Pick your pitch carefully to fully enjoy the sunshine, the tall surrounding trees can block out sun early in some pitches.
