A wonderful weekend at Wrekin View

I feel I must leave an honest review of this site. We booked a 2 night stay at Wrekin View in April 2019. Myself and my wife received a warm welcome by Brian (owner) on arrival. The site is very well kept with wonderful views of the Shropshire countryside. Our pitch was a good size and serviced with mains electric, water tap and grey waste A local pub is a short walk away through the village which was quaint and serves lovely food on Friday nights. I would strongly recommend this site to any one who want a peaceful stay in wonderful surroundings and very friendly owners. We will certainly be returning again.

Almost Perfect ,19-02-19

This site is a real Gem for those who require peace and quiet. Owners are very welcoming and helpful Site just needs a toilet installing to be a perfect little 'get away site' . Can;t wait to visit again.

Comment from the Club:

Many thanks for leaving a review and we are delighted you found the site a gem. Just to let you know we do advise that the site doesn't have toilet facilities on the site description.

Peaceful winter weekend Jan 19

Lovely well maintained site with great views. Owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Site is gently sloping on grass no problem if you have a 4 x 4 otherwise if wet might be an issue but there is a hard standing at end of driveway ( owner will advise). Local pub in village is walking distance and does food Friday evenings and Sunday lunch (cash only). Will visit again for sure - worth visiting, you won’t be disappointed.

The perfect CL

Can only add to the other 5 star reviews about this CL. Made welcome from the booking email, and the site owner provides a very useful local information pack plus suggestions on where to go locally. Good pub only 10 minutes away and pub meals (on Fri evening and Sunday lunch only) are worth the visit Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet CL with lovely views

Beautiful view of the Wrekin.

This is a well kept site. Tended by Brian who is a lovely friendly guy. Amazing views of the Wrekin. A quiet site. There is a great area for chatting with friends and a cupboard full of books to swap. Within handy walking distance of the pub which is very friendly. Food served Friday evening and Sunday lunch. ( unfortunately dogs aren't allowed in when food being served but are welcome any other time) We had a great weekend and will definitely be back. Many thanks Brian and Josie.
