Tranquil and friendly

Fantastic site that we have visited often. Now with water supplies and grey water drainage to each pitch. Surrounded by fields and close to the Hare and Hounds Pub in Withington who do meals on Friday night and Sunday lunchtime. Two other pubs, The Haughmond in Upton Magna and the Corbett Arms in Uffington plus others in the surrounding area mean you are never far from a good meal. A short drive away are Shrewsbury and Telford with shopping and entertainment. Ironbridge and Wroxeter are close by. Only a short drive to Church Stretton and the lovely Shropshire countryside around the Stiperstones. We are always well looked after by Brian and Josie who should be proud of their site. We have been coming here since 2015 when the site opened and we love the peace and quiet and the craic in the village pub. Very welcoming. Would recommend a stay

An excellent site.

This is a beautiful site. It is set between two fields on the outskirts of Withington village on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. It is a short walk to the nearest pub in Withington and it is only 4 miles from Shrewsbury town centre. There are five pitches which are serviced with water and electric. 2 pitches are hard standing. All have views of the surrounding countryside. The site is split by some beautiful planters. The grass on and around the pitches is cut like a lawn.

What a location and loved site

We were warmly welcomed to the site last week by Brian and told about the site and set up. The site was extremely well kept and so peaceful with easy access to a number of good venues. The owner spoke to us every day making sure we were all ok and was interested in what venues we visited. This was our first visit to Shropshire and certainly we will be back to the area and this site.

Best CL site I have ever been to.

My wife and I have been visiting this site since it opened and we have made it our second home. Brian and Josie work really hard to keep the site up to date and keep the grass cut short. They update the facilities on a regular basis and make the site more comfortable. This year they have installed water and drainage for every pitch. The local pub is fantastic with its excellent range of cask beers and the Sunday lunch and Friday a la carte menu are very reasonably priced and great value for money. The place’s to visit locally are endless and varied. The weather in June 2019 was atrocious with heavy rain but it did not spoil our stay as the site is very well drained and we did not have one bit of wet mud. The only thing I can’t understand is why this site has not been given the accolade of CL of the year, it certainly deserves it.

Even Better .

I came here when it first opened and it was a 5 star site then. Visited again in June 2019 and found that each caravan has its own water and a shared soak away, so it's even better than before.I can't begin to tell you how welcome you're made to feel by Brian and Josie. They are a lovely couple. I've been to the local pub with them on a few occasions. Fantastic views. You have use of a massive freezer. There is a book club as well. Just to correct the previous reviewer, there are three hard standings and two grass pitches. All serviced. Look forward to returning.

Great CL

Warm welcome from Brian to his lovely site. Serviced pitches are a bonus. All the CL pitches are hard standing. The views over the surrounding countryside up to the Wrekin are just beautiful. The site is home to A great variety of wildlife. Plenty of POI to visit. If your looking for a new LV Salop Leisure is about 3 miles away.

Lovely

What a lovely CL glad we found it,Brian was so welcoming and friendly the wildlife was great we had a bird box next to our van and we could hear the little chicks inside and mum and dad blue tits were really busy going back and fore the box. We went into Shrewsbury using the park and ride at Harlescott cost £2.50 return for both of us fantastic service. We visited RAF Cosford museum it’s free just pay £4 parking worth going to see, also David Austin rose gardens although the roses weren’t out yet I’m sure it will be beautiful when they are all out in bloom, the cafe and shop were lovely I will definitely be going back. This is a CL we will definitely be coming back to Thankyou very much Brian Colin & Sandy

Wonderful find

We have just had a wonderful week at Wrekin View CL site. I am so pleased to have found this site and will definitely be returning. Brian and Josie, who run the site are wonderfully welcoming and friendly. The site is immaculately maintained with each van having plenty of space, it's own tap and grey water drainage. These are facilities exceeding expectations for a site in this price range. The information pack provided is the best that I have encountered by far, and is extremely well thought out. Not only does it have brochures for local attractions but information on the area plus telephone numbers and postcodes for everything you could need. We found it very useful. All in all I can highly recommend a visit, it is a great little site in a beautiful location. Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Peace & Quiet

Lovely welcome by Brian and Josie who have a very comprehensive information pack this being indicative of how they have gone that bit further when creating their cracking little CL, each pitch is serviced with fresh water electric and grey waste disposal. The area itself is great for walking the dog and cycling and the locals are extremely friendly everyone spoke and made us feel most welcome. This is in our top 5 of favourite CL's and is just perfect for a relaxing get away.

SO RELAXING

April 8th 2019 We have just returned from a long weekend at THE WREKIN VIEW cl site. We had a lovely welcome from Brian and Josie, It has been a very relaxing weekend and the dog loved it too. The dog had loads of walks from the site. When we arrived at the site Brian had just finished making all the pitches into full service pitches which was a nice surprise.
