Warm welcome on arrival

We were greeted on our arrival by Eric who was most helpful from ensuring we were happily positioned and electric hook up was working ok to our motorhome. The site was very well equipped with a new toilet and shower block. Hygiene was paramount particularly with the Covid 19 and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. A lovely area for walking and cycling and fairly flat too. The ponds with the water lilies were a nice feature on the site too. Many thanks for making us both so welcome and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we are in this area. Cheryl and Tony.

Lovely welcome from Eric

We booked this cl at the last minute after seeing a post on FB saying they had a vacancy. Eric was very accommodating. The site is well laid out, each pitch is hard standing and clearly marked and includes own water tap, waste and dustbin. Eric has thought of everything. The only minor negative was finding the access turn off from the main road. We accidentally turned into the transport museum (luckily they had a car park for us to turn around). This CL is in a beautiful part of Anglesey close to newborough forest with great cycling from the site. Easy access to main roads to get around Anglesey and also close enough for a day trip to Snowdonia. Eric is very helpful helping guide us into the site and onto the pitch. He knows the area well and can recommend places to visit. A lovely stay. Definitely recommend to others. Rob and Angela Green

Really well thought out venue, excellent!

From communication through booking (during lock-down) through to personal weather warning reports of the impending storm last week, the service offered by Eric & Sue was friendly, efficient and has been some of the best I have ever had! Detail of routes to site, local attractions and beauty spots, as with useful contacts supplied well in advance to arrival. Site is easily accessible from main road, gravel entry through to hardstanding pitches, strategically planted hedges give privacy and shelter, the pitch service points are excellent and well thought out, as is the availability of hardcore to get the angle of the drain pipe right! Toilet block and shower was still awaiting completion, for us not an issue in the current COVID climate, but Eric continually beavering away to complete! Grounds are maintained really well, and an walk around the ponds on a nice evening is a really nice touch! Not more I can say that hasn't been already said here, quiet, accessible, and convenient. Thanks again to you both for an excellent site and service, hope to see you again, hopefully for a nice autumnal or winter getaway, will be a great venue for out of season stays!

Lovely Peaceful Site

I was welcomed personally by the owners, and shown to my pitch. This is a lovely peaceful site, and each hardstand pitch has electricity, water, and waste water facilities. In addition, because of Covid, all the pitches had their own bins, suitably sanitised. Pitches are a good size, and the surrounding pretty area is great for giving a dog a short walk. I thought the lilies in the larger pond were beautiful. It is well maintained, and so, so quiet, and very handy for Newborough Forest. You couldn't want for more! Thanks, Eric and Sue. I shall be back - just please arrange for drier weather!

Great CL with lovely owners.

Had four nights here a couple of weeks ago, last minute booking. Great large private pitches, with water and drainage on all pitches. Hard standing no grass pitches. Very welcoming informative owner, site is kept lovely and tidy surrounded by small Lily Ponds, which you can walk round. No views, but handy for much of what Anglesey has to offer. Would definitely stay again if we visit Anglesey.

escape from lockdown

We took the opportunity to escape lockdown as Wales opened up at the end of july. We usually go to Anglesey for our first outing of the year and choose a different area each year. We spent a week at Brambles and how lovely it was. Eric welcomed us as we arrived and offered advice for accessing the pitch. The site is a haven of peace and quiet ( a" neigh"bouring horse can be heard occassionally) the ponds were full of lilies and we had a visit from a rabbit each evening. Though the weather could have been better - to be out in the van again was just heaven. Luckily the site is only a couple of hours from home and as its open all year it looks ideal for return visits even late in the year. Well worth a visit.

Great new CL in a good location

We recently visited and stayed for 2 nights - Friendly welcome from Eric and his lovely dog Issy - Eric had already advised me of building work when I first enquired about pitch availability but apologised again. This wasn’t disruptive for us as we’d planned to take our dog walking during the day anyway. The site as it was, was already very good - serviced level hard standing pitches with plenty of space and a nice feeling, certainly one of the more spacious CLs we have visited, and as my wife said, probably our new favourite local CL. As another member has stated, Newborough is about a 15 minute walk away, but has a lovely beach and forest walk - you can spend a few hours pleasant walk here and I think from Easter time, there are a couple of catering trailers parked in the main beach car park for good quality refreshments. A site we will definitely return to.

Excellent site for an action packed autumn break

We were very pleased to find this excellent site for our 6 night November holiday. Eric was very welcoming and helped us to assemble our newly purchased water and waste equipment, and made sure that we felt at home on our individual pitch, set within the attractively landscaped site. The hardstanding, and well drained and sheltered pitch, was ideal for weathering the high winds and heavy rains that have been sweeping the country. We found it an excellent base both for mountain walking in snowdonia and coastal walks, sightseeing and orienteering on beautiful Anglesey. Lots more still to see so we will definitely have to return!
