Amazing views from all angles, well maintained site.

We had four nights at this site recently , weather was unfortunately very wet but this did not affect the warm welcome we got from Nina . The views from the site were amazing and thank goodness the site is quick to drain so remained easy to access, the site is gently sloping but you can position your caravan how you want which helped. Very well maintained with close cut grass, very easy access to water, waste , rubbish, disposal etc .Electric gate for security , returnable deposit required for fob, access is easy but needs care. On arrival Nina met us ,welcomed us and gave us all info we needed and best of all bought us two big slices of lemon cake still warm from the oven , delicious and very welcome. Both Nina and her husband were very friendly but never intrusive but if asked very informative. Thank you for a very pleasant stay in a lovely area with plenty to see and do. Can highly recommend Yeovil Fleet Air Arm Museum.

Fantastic weekend

This is a great CL site. We had a warm welcome from Nina's daughter, later Nina surprised us with beautiful chocolate cake, many thanks. The site is on a hill, the views either to Wells or Glastonbury Tor are wonderful. We were given a map to walk into Wells, takes approx. 30 minutes. For cyclists there is a route through to the strawberry line, not tried yet! A very clean and tidy site, the turning from Brown's garden centre is easy to find, the lane to the site is no trouble, even for a motor home. Overall a beautiful site with many places to visit in the area. We will be back soon! Many thanks Phil,Amanda and Leiya the parrot

Immaculate site

This was our first trip in our newly acquired Motorhome. If all sites are as clean and welcoming as this we will not be disappointed that we decided to try motorhoming! A warm welcome from Nina’s daughter, with cake, a map of the area, and the dongle for the gate. Nina introduced herself as soon as she was home and gave us useful advice on what to see and do in Wells. A visit to The Bishop’s Palace is a must, stunning gardens. Good market on Saturday. Excellent family run pizza restaurant recommend by Nina. We had the site to ourselves so it was lovely and quiet. The views are lovely, the site and service area was immaculate. Highly recommended.

What an awesome find..!

We recently stayed at Primrose Caravan CL for 6 days covering the Easter break. What a wonderful find this is. Nina greeted us with hot chocolate cake and a warm and genuine welcome which included the loan of a map of how to walk to Wells, and a number of points of interest, form the site. The site itself is immaculate with views over to Wells Cathedral on one side and to Glastonbury Torr to the other. The 5 pitches are well spaced out and provide plenty of room between each outfit. The site is easily found being a short drive off the A39 Glastonbury – Wells road. We tow a Swift Challenger 560 (6.66m 21' 10") and had no access issues getting in or out of the site which is also secured by automatic gates and ‘dongle’ for which a £10 deposit is required, well worth it for the peace of mind and security it provides. We very much enjoyed this top class CL and Nina’s warm and friendly welcome. Nina is clearly and justly proud of her immaculate site. We’ll most certainly be back…. Would recommend a visit to the Bishop's Palace gardens in Wells (Stunning), the quirky Sheppy Inn in Lower Godney (Try the Truman's pale ale) and Clarke's retail park in Street if good beer, food and bargains are of interest..... A walk up Glastonbury Torr is a must.. PS: I’d advise using Junction 23 if travelling on the M5 as this takes you to the A39 and an easy approach to the site.

Above and beyond

We stopped off here on our journey from Cornwall as we travelled home back up North.. We had a fantastic 4 days here...and must say that Nina goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Nina has a C.L. to be very proud of and it comes across that she is quite rightly proud of what she has achieved and her hard work is a credit to her, as the paddock and services are absolutely immaculate. She greeted us on arrival with warm chocolate cake..delicious and she is very friendly and informative. The views over Wells are stunning and we couldn't of wished for a better 4 days and would love to return. Well done Nina and family for a top stay xx Suzanne and Tony Nicholson

Booked into Primrose caravan park for two nights initially, but ended up staying a week. Beautiful site with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Very well placed for exploring Somerset. Thank you Nina.

Just lovely

Their website makes booking specific pitch a possibility. Chose just the right one for us. Lovely welcome from the family, including warm cake! Nina explained what was around and we used her recommendation to use a peaceful Sustrans cycle track into Wells. We also used her's (and her daughter's) recommendation for where to get pizza and ice cream in Wells. Just follow their advice and you won't be disappointed. The site has great views of Wells, Glastonbury Tor and so on as described on their website. Very peaceful and relaxing. The CDP and recycling facility is very clean.

Another Excellent Stay

from Richard Stott () via Lodgify Aug 12 20185.0 Accepted Another excellent stay Our second short stay at Primrose and just as good as first time. A lovely site with superb views, excellent facilities and a warm welcome from the owner Nina. Would certainly recommend to anyone interested in visiting Wells which can be accessed easily on foot. Plenty of other local interest with Glastonbury Tor nearby and Clarkes retail village also nearby in Street. 8/2018 Dear Richard, thank you so much for taking the time & trouble to give us such a lovely positive review, we certainly appreciate it. Hopefully, you will come and visit us again, when you next come to our area, as we’d love to see you. Reply by the Owner (13/08/2018 12:08:13)
