Superb site

A really well-kept, spacious site with very pleasant & welcoming owners. All facilities are very clean & well-maintained. If you are in a motorhome & don't want to move it, there are plenty of public footpaths & cycle routes to explore, as well as buses close by with easy access to Knaresborough, Harrogate & beyond. We spent 6 nights here & plan to return as there are lots more places of interest that we didn't have time to see.

Peaceful sight

What a lovely site this is! This is our second visit and we were pleasantly surprised the changes, there is now a huge shower room with a toilet and a separate toilet with facilities to wash your hands. It has been very well though out and looks very pretty decorated with hanging baskets! The CL site is beautifully manicured and there is acres of space for your caravan, we enjoyed watching the rabbits grazing on the evening accompanied by bird song - perfect! We had a friendly welcome by the owner Vicky on arrival which was a nice touch. Looking forward to our next visit.

Yorks Weekend!!

Big thanks to Vicki for making us welcome. Lovely CL close to so many interesting places plus being within an easy walk of the Guy Fawkes Inn( great food & welcome ) at Scotton. Will certainly be back soon. The fresh eggs were very tasty!!

Wow

We stayed for 2 nights at this site in our motorhome end of June. What a pleasant site and couple so so friendly. Shower facilities and well thought out layout a credit to site owners. Bus stop nearby into knaresborough! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks VIcki & Graham.

Chillout

Stayed here for six nights, would have stopped longer but commitments prevented it. The couple that run this CL are very nice people are understanding and should be very proud of this CL with it's more than adequate facilities.

Great first time

I don`t normally review things on websites but felt that I had to make an exception with this site. This was our first time as caravaners and from booking till departure the owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming. This is a great, peaceful site with top notch facilities and lovely free range eggs for sale. Many thanks got to Vicki and her hubby for making our first foray into the world of caravanning a lovely experience.

excellent

We visited this site between Christmas and New year 2015. Although to wet to access grass pitches it was evident that well maintained. Hard standing available which was ideal. Warm welcome. Shower and toilet facilities excellent. Lots of local information available Able to walk dog in owners field but to muddy at this time. Short walk away was public footpath, but again to muddy to access will try next time. We had previously been put off by free roaming hens, there was no issue with them as mainly they where in fields, no evidence of droppings. Would highly recommended this site and will return again in the future

Well worth a visit

Just spent 4 nights on this excellent site, we got a very warm Yorkshire welcome on arrival and were shown around the facilities by the owner Vicki. The new washroom area is a credit to them, lovely hot shower and lots of attention to detail on the set up of this site.  Lovely views, quiet location and a real rival for the Knaresborough Caravan Club site.

Lovely Site Warm Welcome

Visited August 2015 and had a wonderful stay. Graham and Vicki both made us feel welcome and Graham takes great pride in his lawned site: even with the shower last year being some way from the pitch  we were quite happy to rate it 5 Stars. We love Yorkshire and  liked the site so much we are going back this year and looking forward to seeing the new shower block adjacent to the pitches. We also like that it is adults only as my wife works in a school and we are stuck with school holidays even though our own children are now grown up.
