This has to be the best ever CL

My wife and I have been caravanning for the best part of 30 years now and have visited numerous CLs in that time. We have enjoyed being at every single one of them as they have all had something that made them good. This CL is bar far the best, they have thought of everything. Greeted by a warm welcome and an offer of a drink, shown around the facilities, the shower room, the separate toilet, the dog shower, washroom, small shop for basic food items, home made meals in the freezer, the list goes on. The pitches themselves are again perfect and you can have your meals delivered to yours. Breakfast was lovely as was Sunday dinner. The homemade jam was also very good. Homemade pizzas tonight we're again delivered hot to our van and went down really well. Our dogs enjoyed the dog walk and had a good run around, they even were given a welcome treat on arrival. Thank you for a lovely 5 days, your CL is brilliant, made perfect by your hospitality, home cooking and attention to every detail. Mark & Dawn

Fabulous Cl site

This is far beyond a super site from arriving and being greeted either by Lou or greg with a tea or coffee and biscuits for our 2 dogs Daisy & Dottie to leaving these wonderful people cannot do more for you . The site and facilities are kept immaculate and pristine, we’ve been going for 4 years and this is far beyond the best site we go on . Lou is a fabulous cook there’s a full menu if you want to book a meal and her Sunday lunches are highly recommendable, plus full English to set you up for the day and all off these are delivered to you steaming hot . Also you get complementary cream tea where again scones are homemade and very delicious. Feel sad when leaving this idilic caravan site it’s amazing and our girlies 🐾🐾 get very spoilt and loved to 😍

Wonderful site

We stayed at Poole Farm for 2 nights this week. It is the best CL we have ever stayed at, with the warmest welcome and immaculate facilities. The site is very peaceful and it is the perfect place to relax. We bought some of Lou's homemade jam, it is absolutely delicious, as was the cream tea we had in the motorhome. We didn't have any of the home cooked meals this time, but we certainly will when we visit again.

Our second visit, but it won’t be our last.

A lovely, adults only site, a warm welcome and generous, fully serviced, hardstanding pitches. It has a nice, secure dog field, which for us is a must. Clean and comfortable shower and wc, and a doggy wash facility. Make sure to sample Louise’s meals, they are delicious.

Our stay at the wonderful Poole Farm in Launceston.

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful this CL Site is. Such a warm and friendly welcome from the start when we arrived and a lovely cuppa. Lou and Gregg along with their son Harvey have thought of absolutely everything. So much love, care and a lot of hard work. No wonder it has been voted CL of the year. It is definitely a must to stay at. They also have a holiday cottage plus they run a B&B. We will be sad to leave but we have already booked for next year. Thankyou once again Lou and Gregg for making our stay such a wonderful part of out time away.

Perfection

We stayed here for 9 nights and it was lovely and peaceful where you hear the sound of woodpeckers & owls constantly. Louise & Greg have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Everything is kept immaculate. Lovely bathroom & dishwashing facilities. The meal we had delivered to the caravan was perfect after a busy day out all served with fresh vegetables & salad. The frozen meals were all lovely that were for sale in the kitchen area along with jams, chutneys and various other homemade goods. We did get lost on the way there but Louise was wonderful and stayed on the phone the whole way so we didn’t get lost again. We did worry about getting in and out the entrance but we never did meet anyone coming in the opposite direction. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Another excellent stay!

Well what can we say about this site that has not been said before.....this is our go to site for our relaxing weekends away. We are always welcomed by Greg and Louise with friendly smile and fantastic service. If you visit you must spoil yourself with at least one of Louises home cooked meals (plenty of choices) but we are greedy we don’t cook at all! On this visit we were accompanied by our 82 year old mum, who said Louises fish pie was the best she’s ever tasted (that’s saying something). All facilities are spotless and unique, with lots of personal touches. Dog field is a good size and a few dog walks local to the site. Always sad to leave but looking forward to forth coming visits planned for this year! Thank you for all your hard work it making your site the best we’ve been on. Paul ,Carol and Bonnie x

1st time here, 2 night getaway break, Relaxing, peaceful, wonderful

A lovely little site, only an hours drive from my home, had a lovely warm welcome from Gregg, he explained where all facilities were, and lots of leaflets for local attractions, showed us the shower room and laundry/washing up room, where you will also find home made jams, chutneys, marmalades all at a reasonable price, a book swap and a few essentials if you forget or run out, they also offer a food service, priced accordingly, such as evening meals, pizza, desserts, cream teas and pastries, which you can order and they deliver it to your door, there is wifi onsite and the code is provided in your welcome pack,( i didn't use it as i have my own in the van and that worked well) but could be handy for people who dont have it built into their vans, there is a lovely dog walking area kept neat and tidy just like the rest of the site, all clean and immaculate, after showing us around Gregg offered us a drink and left us to setting up, There is 5 pitches onsite all with electric water and waste, also a chemical toilet point for motorhomes and your toilet cassette, what I also liked was a raised dog shower with a ramp for them to walk up to get in there and a blow dryer so you can dry them off, I don't have a dog but thought that would be a bonus for dog owners after a walk in the local woods or along the river which runs along side the site If you need anything all you have to do is ask and they will help you out, Follow their directions on their webpage and not sat nav/google maps, as there is a very narrow little bridge that caravans will not fit across, i checked google maps before leaving home and it wanted to send me that way, so i ignored and followed owners direction through Launceston, takes about 2-3 minuets longer Overall i thought lovely site very quiet, just local animal sound, birds, horses and cows, will definitely be booking again, Well done to Gregg, Louise and there dog Henry for a relaxing stay if only it was for 2 night
