Beautifully kept, quiet site - ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Steve and Jane were extremely helpful - can't wait to go back
Peaceful location
Lovely peaceful location. Ideal stopover for travelling down to cornwall. We arrived with a welcome cup of tea. Steve the owner was very helpful and friendly. The site is down a quiet lane and is quite narrow in places but there are passing places and we didn't have any problems. Steve and his wife have only been here since last november and are working hard to make their site a lovely place to stay.
As good as it gets.
Jane and Steve have a hidden gem of a CL at Moorland Farm and after spending ten nights there we could not fault it in any way. The peace and tranquillity and abundance of wildlife made for a very relaxing break and the amenities are more than adequate for a CL and are cleaned daily by the hosts. We hope to return to the area one day and we would not hesitate on staying at Moorland Farm.

Well Worth A Visit
This is the first review we have written.
We were so happy staying at this site, and thought credit should be given to the new owners. Jane and Steve were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The site is tranquil, pretty and relaxing. We highly recommend it, and we hope to visit again in the near future.

A wonderful site
We spent 2 nights here, and it is a beautifully kept and peaceful site. Jane is lovely, she and Steve are very and welcoming, the site is spotless and it has everything for a wonderful stay -the lakes, trees and it's a perfect spot to relax.
There are lovely plants in the gardens, beautiful lillies in the pond and plenty of birdsong. A fabulous place for our weekend, thank you!
We didn't fish but those who did were loving it :)
This is heaven on earth
Absolutely marvellous. It really was heaven on earth. Beautiful scenery and wild life was abundant. We had nesting swans, Canada geese, also nesting, mallards, moorhens and even a Crane visited. Despite a day of torrential rain it didn't spoil the tranquility. The owners were helpful and supplied us with free range eggs from their own chickens - very reasonable price. We are already planning our next visit. Try it - you certainly won't regret it.
A real gem of a CL, and one for you to visit
Stayed on this site as an overnight stop in 1997 and told ourselves "we must come back". It took us 17 years, but the wait was well worth it. This is a very secluded and tranquil site, with much of the approach being single track road, but don't let that put you off.
We received a very friendly welcome from Jane & Steve who are new owners of Moorlands Farm. You can pitch right next to one of the two ponds, and as we did watch the swans chase Canada Geese away from their nest while the heron strolled around in the background, occasionally catching a small fish. The weather wasn't great for us, and we had to leave a day early as I was ill, but we wouldn't have missed this for the world. Jane & Steve have plans to develop the site and have restocked the fish in one of the ponds. There is even a chalet for those who want to stay on site with you, or even just do a spot of fishing - almost literally from your door!
A real gem of a CL, and one for you to visit!
Best site ever
We have been going to this site for over 20 years and it is our favourite. Been to numerous CLs but this is the one to beat. Watch the kingfisher, heron, and numerous varieties of birds. Peace and tranquility at its best.
