Good site

Owners were welcoming and helpful about local facilities and the site was very tidy and clean with good access. A little gem, hidden away and private but close to Gloucester and Cheltenham and other local tourist attractions

Another excellent stay

We have just returned from another stay at this lovely C.L The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Immaculately kept site, with covid precautions much in evidence. The situation is is ideal for visiting National Trust properties( several within an hour's travelling distance) and the Malvern hills are excellent for walking. We will return as soon as we can!

LOVELY SITE - SHAME ABOUT THE GRASS,

Mrs Moss gave us a lovely welcome. This CL is a very large field situated behind a beautiful bungalow. The site is bounded on three sides by a very high hedge, so there are no views. It is probably the most secure site we have ever stayed on as the wrought iron gates are permanently locked, which can be a slight irritation as you have to unlock and lock them every time you want to exit or enter - but you know your caravan won't be stolen. There was very slight road noise from the A417, but nothing to bother about really. We stayed there for 5 nights in September, 2020 and the weather was glorious. The only drawback was that the grass was at least 4 inches high, obviously not been cut for a couple of months, and in the mornings there was very heavy dew, so you got your feet and trouser-bottoms wet. Also, we were forever tramping in grass-cuttings to the caravan from when it was last cut. All it needs to make the site perfect is for the owners to invest in a large mower with a grass-box attached and I would then give the site a 100% rating.

EXCELLENT

We can not recommend this site enough, from the time we booked, we had excellent communication even phoned us as we approached to make sure we took the right turning, met at the entrance of the lane by James who stayed with us until we got set up. The site is spot less, even the dustbins shine. We travel with a cat and sometimes she's not always back on time šŸ± We had to stay on that little bit longer, even that wasn't a problem. We only spent two nights at Magnolia Cottage on our way to Devon. We will be back Excellent 1st Class best C L we've stopped at.

En route stop for us - wish that we could have spent longer there!

We have visited many CLs over the years and this was ā€œup with the bestā€. There was a very pleasant welcome (social distancing of course) and a lovely peaceful atmosphere on site. Everything was excellent and the facilities handy and easy to use - plenty of discreet Covid 19 precautions made us realise that being cocooned in your motorhome or caravan you can still enjoy new surroundings without any worries at all. Thank you for making us feel at home!

Lovely site

Used this site for a one night stop over. Received a warm welcome on arrival with the owner happy to advise us on the local amenities. Very large field with level grass pitches. As we had the field to ourselves the owners were more than happy for us to connect the water direct to our caravan, so we more or less had a service pitch. As there were no new arrivals expected for the following day we had no pressure to depart early so took the opportunity to visit the local town of Ledbury. Great site, would definitely consider using again in the future.

lovely quiet site, would recommend.

Mr & Mrs Moss were very welcoming, and we felt very safe re "Covid". Their site is a little oasis of quiet in a lovely village. We would certainly return when we are next in the area. The only problem we had was finding the site, but Mrs Moss was very helpful on the phone and she guided us in. Maybe the club should put a better explanation in their book.

Magnolia Cottage

This was our first adventure in our new motorhome. so we have had no other comparisons yet, but if this is the usual CL standard then we will have nothing to worry about! When we arrived, we were welcomed and shown around by Mrs.Moss. The site was grass, but well maintained with a very slight slope(1 or 2 steps on our small ramps) We are keen cyclists and found the area great for cycling, even if i did find a route using too many A and B roads! Highly recommend.

Lovely site

We have recently returned from a lovely two week stay at Magnolia Cottage CL. Due to the current Covid situation we decided to stay in one place the whole fortnight and choose carefully what we did when we were out and about. In terms of feeling safe, Sheila and Barry had implemented all the measures needed and there was hand sanitiser, distancing etc. all in place. The area was plenty big enough for 5 units with plenty of space to stay distanced. It was flat, well maintained and quiet. A really nice site. The location was ideal to see a range of places of interest as it borders Herefordshire and Gloucestershire with easy access to other counties and the Cotswolds. Plenty of National Trust gardens within reach and many with houses that may be open soon (remember to pre-book!). There is a garden centre open with a small licensed restaurant within walking distance if you fancy Sunday lunch out or coffee/tea etc. We didnā€™t eat there, but it all looked good. The local pub remained closed, but that didnā€™t matter. There is a locked gate at the entrance. We found it easy enough to unlock and it only took minutes. The plus side to that was the wide access and the security the gate provided by only those with keys being able to enter the grounds of the site. (Only one very small negative ā€“ the grey waste is difficult to access with a full and heavy waste container as itā€™s raised off the ground. Need to empty little and often). We would highly recommend this site at any time and will certainly go back again at some point!
