What a gem!!

A warm welcome awaits this little piece of paradise. Although situated fairly close to the road it certainly did not bother our 3 night stay, peace and tranquillity were In abundance. The site is immaculate, extremely well maintained and taking into account the current Health situation very well organised. We will most definitely be returning sooner rather than later!

great cl

We've just returned home from a week at this lovely cl - site is secure with a gated entrance - owners are very welcoming. Pub about a quarter of a mile away - food is very good but a limited menu - there is also a garden centre with a licensed restaurant but we didn't use this. Site is very easy to find.

A Lovely Friendly Quiet CL

We rang ahead and the gates were opened ready for us to drive straight in. We were greeted by Mr Moss who is a model site owner. He couldn't have been more helpful. The CL is a huge area at the back of the house. Water, Electric and waste all close to our pitch. We had a fantastic week there touring the area, the CL is central for so many places. TV signal excellent, Mobile 4G on BT very good.Highly recommended by us and also dog friendly.

Great base to explore from!

Nicely welcomed at the gate by James (son) and shown to our pitch, he made sure the electric was working and we paid - £15 per night with EHU. Site is a good size with plenty of room to turn, even though it was empty for our stay. Sheila (mum) came to see us later in the afternoon to make sure we were settling in OK and asked to let them know if we needed anything. Garden Centre and pub within a 5 minute walk. Garden centre is extremely good with high quality plants and they also serve breakfast and lunch in their coffee shop (didnt eat there so cannot comment). Pub is very welcoming but one of our meals was very poor. In fairness they did deduct it from the bill as a gesture, but the manager (owner?) stayed behind the bar and got the young waitress to make the apology! We explored the local area, going to Gloucester and Tewksbury, both well worth a visit. We also went to the National Trust at Croome, about 25 minutes drive away. Really excellent and a great surprise. well worth a visit - take a picnic and some chairs as the grounds and lake are beautiful! A lovely weekend at Magnolia Cottage. Mr/s Moss and their son James were very welcoming and helpful without being overly so. We will definitely return! If we had to make a suggestion to the owners it would be to collect the grass when mowing. Thankfully it was dry for most of our stay but there was a lot of grass making its way into the motorhome!

Slightly disapointed

On arrival we were advised to use the gravelled area because the grass hadn't been cut. We were then told more members were booked in and would also be going on the gravelled area. The gravelled area would be cramped with more than a couple of units, was quite untidy and the outlook (old sheds) was not great. The next members to arrive chose to park on the grassed area despite the long grass. The metal gates are kept locked at all times and although this gives good security, we found the gates and padlock a bit tedious because there is no pedestrian gate. The grey waste which was also toilet waste was half a metre off the ground so full Waste Master had to be lifted. Lovely couple and very welcoming but we wouldn't return.

Lovely 3 days.

Thank you Shiela for a pleasant and peaceful stay at Magnolia Cottage. The shingle hard standing was perfect as the main field was a little damp. We certainly booked the right venue for exploring the Three Counties and to cap it all the daytime weather was glorious, the nights however were somewhat colder! We took Brians advice and had the carvery lunch at The Hunters Inn at Buckbury and had a wonderful Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price. For those that would like to eat within walking distance The Swan in the village was only a couple of minutes away. All in all we had a really good time with good hosts and good security. We shall definitely repeat the experience next time we are in the area.

Very welcoming and peaceful

Have just returned from this lovely peaceful CL. Mr and Mrs Moss and their son were very welcoming and helpful. We had to postpone our planned visit in August due to a Hospital procedure, Mr and Mrs Moss very kindly offered to carry our deposit over to this visit which was really appreciated. The Pitches are on a very well kept paddock with some hard standings available for wetter weather. It is very secure, the gates are kept locked at all times and you get your own key.

Excellent

This is a first class site, one of the best we have visited. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, even offering us apples from their orchard! Easily accessed from the M5, and level field, immaculately kept. Although only a short distance from the main road, it is quiet and very peaceful. There is garden centre a few minutes walk away where we had good cooked breakfasts and lunches. Several pubs close by too. Handy for both Cheltenham and Gloucester and the Malverns. We will definitely return.

Very peaceful

We had planned to stay for 5 nights but due to circumstances were forced to make last minute cut to 4 and Mrs Moss was fine about that. On arrival she welcomed us and opened the gates. We were offered the field or a place on the shingle approach to it. We chose the field which was beautifully flat and I was able to reverse the van into place in one sweep without the movers and without having to up with stupid little white pegs (sorry Club Sites - a bit of a bug-bear for me!) Mrs Moss was very helpful with info about the village and local walks as this was our first trip with our ageing German Shepherd. Two tiny grumbles; the waste water was raised which meant having to lift the wastemaster up (remedied by draining it more regularly and not letting it fill). They must have cut the site just before we arrived and we were forever collecting grass cuttings. The use of a grass box would take little effort and leave happier campers. Thank the Lord we remembered to take our G-Tech! Great site for star-gazers as there was so little ambient light the sky was spectacular. And finally, if you ever visit this site you must go to Just Rachel's Ice-cream parlour in Ledbury - ice-cream to die for!

What a delightful site. We were made very welcome by Mrs Moss. We stayed on the hardstanding for 3 nights because of the recent wet weather. The field was immaculate and very spacious. We will return
