Winter Break

A long overdue review for Magnolia Pitches which we visited in November. Paul and Becky are very friendly and helpful owners nothing is too much trouble for them. As previously stated the pitches are very generous in size and fully serviced which is an added bonus. There are numerous walks from the site so if you have a dog it will be well catered for its daily exercise. Also plenty of places of interest to visit near by. All in all it was such an enjoyable stay that we have already booked two return visits for next year. If you do decide to visit we are sure that you will not be disappointed.

Best CL site so far

Totally agree with the other reviews on this page. A well maintained site with excellent pitch sizes with the water and electric point to each pitch. We arrived 6.30pm and was greater by both, given information and we set up quicy due to the ease of access and clear direction of pitches. Rebecca popped over to check we were all settled and explained recycling system. On saturday Rebecca came over with cake ! And informed us of a local fireworks display later that evening. We left on the Sunday, was told there was no rush to leave and Rebecca told us a valuable tip of turning the water heater off in the evening to save electricity ! Thankyou. We have already booked to visit again this year.

What can we say about this site

Where Do I start about this site!! All I can say is "Fantastic," the pitches are on a very large Lawned area, with water and electric 16 amp and grass mats to prevent "sinking "if ground is wet.you can pitch up however you like We had the whole site to ourselves, our dog loved it, Paul got a resounding thumbs up from our dog while he played tug of war, ball throwing and copious licking from her. Whilst Becky checked on how i was as my partner was away for the day on a cycling event leaving myself and dog to our own device's. Paul and Becky keep an immaculate site. Great advice on places to eat from Becky, We chose The Farmers Arms , which was a lovely country pub with very good food.. There are lovely Bridleways/footpaths from the site ideal for dog walking, mountain biking etc. We had a major leak in our shower cubicle rendering it unusable, Paul was absolutely outstanding and fixed it, he spent a few hours under our van working away not just repairing the leak to see us through the rest of the stay, he improved it!...he went above and beyond any expectation of a Cl site owner. Not only did Paul fix our shower, Becky and Paul offered me the use of their home shower while ours was fixed, which was very much appreciated. Despite our hiccup with the shower leak, we had glorious weather for the time of year., and two very friendly, extremely helpful site owners made for a wonderful relaxed stay in a beautiful part of England...highly recommended, we will be back. 10 out of 10 for this site.

Great CL

Just returned from Magnolia Pitches CL, this is the third time we have been here since Becky & Paul took over the site. It’s one of those sites that, once you have been here, you will want to return. You get a very warm welcome when you arrive, and you feel safe behind the large metal gates. The pitches are massive and have 16amp ,water, hard standing, and great Wi-Fi to every pitch. The location is brilliant, so many places to visit, very handy off the M5.

Magnolia Pitches a Fabulous CL site

Well what a find - Magnolia Cottage Staunton near Ledbury Gloucestershire. Having just spent a week here, I can highly recommend this immaculate site with self-serviced, well spaced, generous pitches. The owners Rebecca & Paul were so welcoming and friendly. Becky couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was happy, from making sure that everything was OK to providing loads of information about where to go and what to do, areas of interest, eateries etc. We had some lovely outings and walks including; Mallards Pike , Symonds Yat , Twyning ( from here you can walk the river to Tewksbury) & May Hill, where there are beautiful half feral horses roaming. Included in the very reasonable price was excellent Wi-Fi access. The site is also dog friendly and Becky was very helpful and considerate in advising on off lead area etc. We will definitely come again, there is so much to do and see in the area and Magnolia Cottage is Just 4 miles from the M50 and ideally situated for areas such as Malvern , South Wales and the Cotswolds. What a perfect week . Thank you Becky & Paul 👍😊

Our two fur babies

Home now after 4 relaxing days on this wonderful quiet site. Becky and Paul were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Becky was very informative and helpful. The site is kept very tidy , everything is spotless. Plenty of space between each caravan and some lovely walks from the site. It's very convenient to travel to many beautiful locations. We will definitely be returning.

Superb CL - We will be back!

What can I say about this CL – it is superb. Becky and Paul are the most welcoming hosts and nothing, and I mean nothing, is too much trouble. The email exchanges with Becky beforehand were first class – please take note of her directions on her email as they are VERY important if you don’t want to end up down a very narrow road. Yes, access is narrow but it is literally a stones throw from the main road so not an issue if you follow her directions. The site is immaculate. I have never seen such clean waste bins. Becky has a great recycling system in that she gives you a plastic box for cardboard and plastics, and a food bin which she will change whenever required. It is a great system which we will use ourselves going forward. We were very lucky to have her two gorgeous young grandsons, James and Billy, explain the recycling process to us – it really was a treat. The site is lovely and quiet, there is slight road noise at times but nothing to worry about. You can park your unit however you want to as Becky and Paul are very laid back and happy for you to pitch as you prefer (as long as your wheels are on the plastic under the grass which is fine). The pitches are fully serviced which is great and the electric charge is not an issue. I think we spent an average of £1.84 per day so when the site fee is £16.00 a night its great value for money. There is plenty of room on the site and it’s great for dogs. There was loads of room for our two labs to have a wander. There is not an actual dog walk, but you can wander down a quiet lane from the site to a fishing pond. There is free wifi on site and you are given the code on arrival. Again, most welcome. Becky will happily supply you with details of what to do in the area – she is a mine of information! We particularly liked Gloucester Docks, especially for eating out at night. Gloucester itself didn’t really float our boat but with Ledbury, Tewkesbury and Cheltenham not too far away, we had plenty of places to visit. If you have a dog/s we found a lovely place on the river at Lower Lydbrook (about 30 minutes’ drive) but you can also stop off at Ross on Wye which is lovely. All in all, we had a fab two weeks at Magnolia Pitches and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is adult only CL which is another bonus if you prefer peace and quiet! Thank you, Becky, Paul, James and Billy, for making our holiday very special. We will be back!

Excellent CL

So long as you have your own shower and toilet this is the perfect CL. It has serviced pitches with 16amp, free high-speed Wi-Fi, hardstanding or grass. When the grass is cut it is collected when cut so no great clods of grass in your caravan. There’s loads of space so you will not be crammed in like some of the Club Sites. The electric is metered but was less than £2/day, so excellent overall value. Lots of wonder places to visit, Malvern Hills, Upton Upon Severn, Tewksbury, Ledbury, Wye Valley, the Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat along with Stately Homes, gardens and Castles. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you. Well done Becky and Paul. Geoff & Mary

Best CL ever stayed at

Stayed at Magnolia Pitches for a week and enjoyed every minute while there. We were welcomed by Beccy on arrival and shown to our pitch. EHU is metered, which I think is the fairest way. There are lots of places to visit in the area, and we managed to visit quite a few of them. We even were given some plums from the orchard which my wife made a lovely plum crumble with. We will be visiting again in the near future. Highly recommended.

FAB-U-LOUS

Well ! what more can we say that hasn’t already been said about this wonderful CL except ‘DITTO’. We stayed with Becky and Paul for 4 nights in mid July in our small campervan and it was great. It’s a lovely area to cycle around with several marked cycle routes which take you through beautiful countryside and quaint towns/villages. Both Becky and Paul do go the extra mile to make your stay even more enjoyable, that’s why so many other reviewers return again and again.
