Magnolia Pitches

A lovely well maintained site, as all the reviews have mention very warm welcome and helpful owners Becky and Paul. Had a issue with the caravan when leaving but Paul was very helpful and he managed to repair the caravan so we could drive home. Thanks again Becky and Paul. We will visit again.

Great stay on a great site

On arrival we were greeted by the nicest Cl owners we have ever met. The pitches are very large, flat & fully serviced with grey water going into the hedge. You are told you can pitch which ever way you prefer which makes a nice change. You are also given a recycling box & a waste food container which I have never known before but a great idea. You get wifi included in your pitch fee which is a bonus & it always worked well for us. I must mention the attention to detail on this site. The general waste bins are emptied daily & thoroughly cleaned by Becky & when a pitch is vacated Becky sanitises the service post & covers it so it is lovely & clean for the new occupants. The site is in a great location for visiting lovely Gloucester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury & Malvern to name but a few. Cannot recommend this site enough if this is the area you want to explore.

Brilliant stay

We arrived at magnolia pitches to a very friendly welcome from Becky and Paul. Lots of information given of places to visit and places to eat. Flat level pitches with neatly cut grass and clippings collected. The sites surrounding hedgerow kept us well sheltered from the gusty winds. Becky came to see us midweek just to keep us informed of our electricity use which we found to be a minimal amount on top of the pitch fee. This CL is a credit to the owners and we would not hesitate to book again in the future. Thank you for a brilliant holiday. D&J

Lovely site warm welcome

Lovely well kept site, everything explained, footpaths near by for dog walking, as the previous reviewer said, don’t be put off by metered electricity, we realised how much we were being overcharged at other sites for electric. Very reasonably priced, owner very helpful and informative Hope to go back, would definitely recommend

Wow!

Wow! By far the best welcome we have ever received at a CL! We were a last minute booking after being disappointed with another CL and came to Magnolia quite by chance!! Welcomed as we pulled up, helped onto our pitch, informed of all the necessities and then left to chill!! Don’t be put off by the electric, we continued as we would ordinarily and the cost per night still worked out less than all the other sites we have booked this year! Pitches are fully serviced and flat, recycling made easy, chemical disposal clean and accessible. Becky, thank you for letting us stay at your CL, your facilities are excellent! We will visit again! Another great visit

This was our 3rd visit to Magnolia Pitches and it won’t be our last. Only 4 stars for surroundings and scenery as the site is very well kept, neat and tidy but there is no view outside the site boundaries if that’s what you want. Well kept grass pitches mown and clippings picked, up excellent free wi-fi and full service pitches with 16A electric. Metered electric and pitch fee worked out the same as most cl’s pricing overall. Easy access to the three counties show ground.Becky and Paul are very welcoming and can’t do enough to help.

Everything we hoped for

A wonderful site with very personable owners, Becky and Paul. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt relaxed, comfortable and totally chilled. Becky is so friendly, and told us of the many places of interest around and about. The site is really lovely, extremely peaceful, with lots of little birds and wonderful birdsong to go with it, rabbits scurrying around the top of the field, and glimpses of the horses on the next property. A little way down the lane you can buy honey and free range eggs, which were delicious. The local area is beautiful, so many lovely little villages to visit, Gloucester Cathedral is stunning, Jet Age museum which is open on weekends, is well worth a visit. What makes this site so appealing is the input you get from Becky and Paul, who have a wealth of knowledge, and also a great sense of humour. I think they must be the most approachable site owners you could wish for, which helps you feel so welcome and relaxed. Thankyou so much Becky and Paul, we hope to see you again soon!!

Best of Sites

Stayed here in our motorhome for 4 nights over Easter (was suppose to be 5 nights but the Hubby got man flu, so decided to leave a day early), Paul & Becky, the owners are very warm, friendly and helpful and even refunded one nights stay which we hadn't asked for, as it was our decision to leave early so felt as we had booked 5 nights that we should pay for 5 nights but Paul wouldn't hear of it . There are 6 fully serviced pitches for £16 per night plus your electric which is metered electric individual to your pitch. We had booked a grass pitch but on arrival we was met by Becky who asked if we minded moving to the hardstanding pitch due to the heavy rain they had just had and the entrance to the grass pitches being a bit muddy and slippery. We didn't mind in least, in fact we was relieved, as on our last jaunt out a month prior to another site, we had got well and truely stuck and had to be towed, pushed and dug out. None the less she was really apologetic for the last minute change. A couple of days into our stay Becky came to give us our electric read out, so we knew exactly how much we were using, which I though was very thoughtful, I guess it is so there are no big surprises when you go to leave. There are also no extra costs for awnings, tow cars or people visiting you. The site itself was really clean & quiet and in a lovely area, not far from Gloucester, Cheltenham, The Cotswolds and Wales. I would totally recommend this site and cant give enough stars. I am 100% sure we will be back again. Becky & Paul really do have the CL site nailed down to how it should be done, so a big well done to them and a a warm thank you for having us.
