Lovely stay for us and our dog.

Nice welcome. Had a really enjoyable 4 night stay. Peaceful and relaxing with excellent facilities including personal tap and fresh eggs. Our dog really enjoyed the large enclosed off lead exercise field and a walk round the lake. Sets a new level for CLs.

Fantastic site.

Fantastic site, easy to find if you listen to Matt and not sat nav!! Great welcome from Barbara, shown to lovely roomy pitch with own water and elec, great space all around and a fantastic field for dogs to run free in safety. Whichever way you look there is a fantastic view. Great chatting to Matt & Barbara and Tony & Shirley. AND we got a dozen lovely eggs from the chickens. I can't wait to see Matt & Barbara's plans unfold, it sounds so good. The best CL we've ever been on, and only an hour and a half from home. Thank you all for making us so welcome.

A gem of a site

Have just stayed for 5 nights,Matt and Barbara are very good site hosts very helpful in every way, The site itself is one of the best CLs we have ever stayed on,with all you require close to hand. For walking and cycling it is a very good area to be in,the lake a short walk away is very good for relaxing and the fishing is very good for a gentle days fishing or for the keen carp angler, I fished for 3 days and caught 50 plus fish,largest 15lb but there are bigger fish in the lake, which is one reason we will be back soon!.

Perfect CL

Spent four nights at this lovely peacefull CL..definitely one of the best we have stayed on.. it has five lovely sized pitches each with there own water tap electric hook up and washing line. There are lovely walks all around including one which takes you to a lake which we walked too every day.. The owners Matt & Barbara are very welcoming and have certainly made this a lovely place to stay.. If your looking for peace and relaxation then this is the place to be.. looking forward to our next stay here in July..

Most Spacious CL

Spacious, quiet and well maintained. A new CL and the owner, Matt, invited comments on any improvements he could make. I suggested that it would be easier to access the site if the gate were to open the other. He was going to do this after we left. Would certainly recommend this site and we will be retruning.

A little gem worth discovering

With arms waving and a massive smile we were welcomed to this new CL site and what a treat it was! The owners have developed their land into really generously sized pitches, bordered by rustic fencing and newly planted mixed hedging. No need for spirit levels or blocks, this site is impressively level. Each designated pitch has its own electricity and water supply, with pressure to knock your socks off and even a thoughtfully added pull-out washing line. The icing on my husband’s cake was the fishing lake offering a variety of species and the heart stopping 15lb carp that was eventually landed. A fenced paddock for dog walking or the network of public footpaths for further afield straight from site. Surrounded by open countryside, skylarks hover, calling loudly before dropping to nests in the maize and rapeseed fields and pheasants and grouse sprint road-runner style in the margins. My advice? Go now, before you can’t get a booking because this CL is going to be a favourite – and I’ve not even mentioned the chickens and fresh eggs!

Peaceful, friendly welcome, wonderful site. Highly recommended.

Wonderful site with well laid out pitches, each with hard standing, large space, fencing around pitch area, own EHU and water tap and even a clothes line! There is a fishing lake on the farm a short walk away. Local footpaths to explore - great for dog walking. Peaceful, quiet, adults only, lots of space. Matt & Barbara very welcoming and have put a lot of thought and effort into making this a site which we will definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

Great site

This newly opened CL is certainly one to visit. Farmer Matt has given it a large amount of thought. Everyone has a large fenced plot with water, electricity and clothes line with lovely green views. It’s amazingly quiet considering how close it is to the motorway, with a small picturesque lake just a stroll away - all on his land. We received a warm welcome from Matt with genuine concern that our stay was the best it could be. Great site, a must for the area. Roger&Gill

OMG.....What a little gem!

What a great site. This CL is new to the club and the owners Matt & Barbara have certainly created a little haven! The site is surrounded by fields and trees and is excellent for doggie walking. Each plot has hard standing with water and electric. There is a lovely picnic area and the whole site is tastefully designed to offer visitors a charming and tranquil stay. We cannot recommend this site highly enough. We have family in the area and we will certainly be visiting again.

Spring Break.

Being the first to visit this CL we were warmly welcomed by Matthew & Barbara. This is an absolute Gem is easily accessible from the main road and has superb pitches with water and hook up and is very well laid out. When mature all the shrubs and trees will provide seclusion for each pitch. There are dog walks direct from the site, perfect for us. We will be back again PS the eggs are fabulous. We can only wish you both the best of luck for the future. we are confident you will do well Best wishes Alan & Jeanette
