A very welcoming site in a great location

We absolutely loved this site! The owners are so friendly and welcoming and make sure everything is ok. The dozen eggs was a nice gesture too. Each site is flat and like a service pitch which makes it very convenient. The journey was an easy one too with the site being only a few miles from the A249. We found so much to do in the area including a visit to historic Rochester, and the historic Chatham Docks visit was also so interesting - it took us two days to complete it. We also loved Faversham with its own Shepherd Neame brewery and pub near to the creek area. We also paid a visit to the Chart Gunpowder Mills which was in the centre of a housing estate but the volunteer manning the place on the Sunday was really interesting. Doddington Gardens in Faversham was also a great place to be in the hot weather providing lots of cooling shade. We stayed 8 days in all and had plenty to do each day.

Perfect piece of Kent country side

When we arrived Matt and Barb were out, but her father-in-law pointed us to our pitch and pointed out the CDP and dog walk, he advised us to dispose of the grey waste into the new hedging. Later Matt came round and checked we'd settled in OK, told us where the fishing lake was and where we could walk off-site with the dog, he also gave us some eggs for our breakfast which, as we enjoyed so much, we purchased a dozen to take home with us. It's a perfectly peaceful site with just the sound of wildlife to 'disturb' the peace. Pitches are perfectly level, so it's arrive, connect to electric and fill up your water tanks, each pitch has its own water tap so you could stay connected and have what is a serviced pitch. The pitch itself is large with fencing and young hedging which give the benefit of some privacy, once the hedging is more established it will be even better. The enclosed dog walk on site is large and great for letting the dog off the lead to chase her ball etc and run around. Would we go back? yes without any hesitation, we enjoyed our stay so much we booked in for the new year period. Being only 25 mins from home it will be one of our go to sites for a quick get away.

Superb Site

When we arrived we were greeted by Barb who pointed out the facilities and made sure we were happy. I asked to pay but Barb just said get yourselves settled, no rush, I will pop over later which she did with a box of six eggs. The pitch’s are great well spaced out and with everything you need. We were in a motorhome and positioned it so the water and electric were always connected and the waste, as we were told, was watering the newly planted hedges. The club would call it a service pitch and charge you extra, you even get a washing line. Later when we were sitting out Matt popped over to introduce himself and left us with a large tub of cherries that he had been harvesting earlier. We found Matt and Barb the perfect CL owners, they were friendly but not overwhelming so. The site is wonderful and we admired the attention to detail they’ve put in to make your holiday as perfect as possible. They are also planning more improvements after the harvest opening up another area once it’s been landscaped, sealing the lake and adding picnic benches around it. We had our dog with us and we found many walks across the fields just past the other lake which Oscar loved to jump in and have a swim. We loved it so much there that we asked if we could stay another night and thankfully there was one space free for the Friday. As we hadn’t planned an extra night we were short on food so asked what take away’s were local and were recommended Ming’s who deliver to the gate. We would also like to mention Barb’s dad who works hard watering the plants and hanging baskets around the site and who gave us some more eggs to take home. Would we recommend this site? yes. Would we stay again? we would love to.

Wow!

What a beautiful, well appointed site. Matty and Barb are working so hard to make this a top-notch site. Pitches are large, well spaced and flat with everything to hand, even a washing line. We were gifted eggs on arrival and strawberries as they were in season. When the newly planted trees have grown, there will be orchard fruits for guests to help themselves to as well. Cannot recommend this friendly site highly enough.

Best Cl in the area

We`ve been here 3 times now and will be going back for Xmas. The site is continually improving all the time, we love it as its close for a visit to family and friends. Always received a warm welcome from either Barbara or Matt, you could not wish for better hosts. We were also very lucky with the weather this time, not a drop of rain all week. We will be coming back time and again. Best Wishes Alan & Jeanette.

Perfect !

We recently stayed here and must say it is really a lovely CL site. The pitch itself is great with water and electric hook up, nice scenery, plenty of pitch space. Also a lovely sitting area. There were indeed two bonuses for us. A great secure dog field, our dog really had a great time. And the eggs we were given on our first day were great ! Lots of chickens at the back of the field.. This is a local site for us as we have a young year old dog and are trying to get him used to caravan life 😊 we unfortunately had to leave very very early on May bank holiday as our battery almost blew up on us in the middle of the night, alarm going off etc and I really wanted to buy some of the eggs to take home. BUT lucky for me I have booked already to go back, and will continue to do so, really enjoyed it there. Recommend 10/10 for us πŸ‘ Tracy & Damian and Jasper the whippet 🌻

Our 1st ever trip out!

New to motorhoming (Glastonbury 2014 really doesn't count!) we decided to use a site a few miles away from home to have our first stay in our new motorhome. The booking was easily made over the phone and the day before we received a reminder text with info about which pitch to park up at in case the owners were not around, after all it is a working farm. Travelling as 2 adults and an elderly pug we wanted a small site, out of the watchful eye of seasoned motorhomers, in case we made fools of ourselves setting up. The space we were given was amazing, Pitch No.1 is a huge corner plot which could have easily sited several more motorhomes should the owners wished. Having settled in, Matt the owner popped over to introduce himself and gave us half a dozen fresh eggs. This was a lovely touch. We also met the other owner, Barbara, when we confused her as we left site shortly after arriving, we had left Connor the pugs lead at home! The waste, recycling & ablutions were the part of our trip I wasn't looking forward to but the facilities are very clean and a good distance away from the pitches.. We didn't explore the surrounding area much as we live not too far away, but did venture to the fishing lake to try out our drone across the fields. Very peaceful. I can say our first ever motorhome trip was a huge success and we will definitely be returning to this great site very soon. Thanxxx

Beautiful site in a lovely area

Lovely pitches, all with their own water and EHU. The owners were very friendly and helpful and even brought us some fresh eggs from their hens....they were so tasty too! They've done a lot of work to make the site and pitches look good and they've thought of everything. Hardstanding on every pitch and level too. Can highly recommend Little Norwood Farm and will definitely return if we come back to the area.

5* caravan site

We enjoyed our stay here so much we have booked our next visit already. The site is so peaceful and has got so much only a short drive away. Lovely walks direct from the site and the enclosed dog walking area is brilliant if you have dogs. Our Brucie loved it and was so at home he loved saying hello to the chickens and Matt’s dog. Pitches are very generous with own hook up, water and washing line. Thank you to Matt and his family for such a lovely friendly and well kept site. Looking forward to our next visit. Phil & Maria
