Simply The Best CL in Kent

Just spent 14 nights on this really awesome CL Little Norwood Farm. The owner Matty and his wife Barbs are the perfect hosts and have worked so hard to build their dream CL. The pitches are simply enormous loads of room. EHU 16 amp + your own tap on each pitch. Grey waste water disposed of into the hedge which surrounds each pitch, very environmentally friendly and providing water for the plants. The hedge which further enhances your privacy is not too high to spoil the views of the magnificent surrounding countryside. If you have your dog/s with you a further bonus is the Orchard Dog Run. This very large securely fenced area is brilliant for letting the dog have a good run off the lead without any fear that it can escape the field. Electricity is metered and charged as an extra on departure. We used electricity for our outdoor grill, our fridge, lighting tv water heating etc without thought of how much we were using the final bill came to £3 per day very reasonable I would say. The quiet serenity of the site, the wildlife (particularly the little Owls and the Rabbits) the magical Carp Fishing Lake also the boxes of fresh free range eggs the punnets of Strawberries and Cherries provided by Matty free of charge, made our holiday extra special thank you Matty and Barbs for creating this wonderful CL and making our time at Little Norwood Farm so relaxing. It will remain in the memory bank for ever. Our very best wishes Alan and Kathleen

Wonderful

Stayed for 14 nights at the end of June. A warm welcome and an explanation of where everything was. The pitches are hard standing for caravan and awning with an enormous amount of grass area to yourself as well. A nice touch was the pull out drying line. You have your own water tap and EHU. Great for dogs as there are plenty of walks and the dog walk compound is superb planted with fruit trees. For non dog owners there is an area where you can sit and enjoy the view. The location is relatively easy to find and roads leading to it are good. We visited most areas on the coastline from Ramsgate,Deal Folkestone Dover ( the castle is worth a visit). We travelled towards London… which is within easy reach… to Gravesend and Rochester. A day in Canterbury was interesting as was Hawkinge a WW2 air base. All these were within an hour. Matt and Barbara are a lovely couple and this CL is a credit to them…. and thanks for the fresh free range eggs and the strawberries and cherries… A great stay.

Short notice trip

Contacted the owners of this site at short notice as we needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting a family member in Medway Hospital. Great communication meant we felt really welcomed, even at short notice, found the site and pitch really easily and arrived and got set up with no fuss. Just what we needed with other things on our minds. Location is quiet, rural site with lovely, well kept, spacious pitches, all with good hardstanding - ideal at this time of year. No problems getting on/off with a 7m motorhome. Hopefully will be back in the New Year under better circumstances. Looking forward to getting the best out of the site, rather than this fleeting winter visit.

Outstanding

We recently returned from an 8 night stay at this wonderful well thought out site. All pitches are large and have there own fenced off garden area with fresh water and even a pull out washing line. There is also a large off lead dog area with the recent added addition of a bench. Matty and Barbs are lovely welcoming hosts. There is no access issues to the site. I cannot recommend this site highly enough only regret for us is that we don't live nearer to come back more often.

Excellent site!

We have stayed here a few times now due to its location, ideal for family visits. Every visit has been very good, from the friendly and generous welcome, good facilities and lovely spacious very well maintained pitches and site. It has now become our "goto" site when in Kent, far better, more pleasant and better value than main sites in the area.
