A wonderful week in July

This is a beautiful spot to spend a week visiting Cornwall. The site is perfectly maintained with well spaced pitches and spotless facilities.  Oakly, our Viszla thoroughly enjoyed the dog walking field as much as we enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The local farm shop in St Cleer sells an abundance of goods, and the pub is dog friendly ... perfect.  We shall certainly put this on our list of sites to revisit. A word of caution though, please drive carefully through the village and to the site, because most of the drivers we encountered certainly did not.

Thank you ...

New to motorhoming we loved this little site. Made to feel very welcome. The dog loved the pooch-friendly fields and we loved the peace and quiet. Thank you.

Visit on Bank holiday weekend - 3rd May 2014

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we were soon relaxing into our weekend break. The site is easy to find and is very well looked after with a lovely hot shower. There is easy access to some good walks and a very well stocked farm shop a short cycle ride away. We will definitely be returning again.

We said we'd come back!!

Back again and the only thing that had changed was the grass was even more lush than I remembered! Max came for his belly rub and the children had a visit from The Easter Bunny. Super CL, spotless facilities and bags of hot water when you've come off the moor. Great centre point to explore the area and hosts are the most welcoming you can get. Looking forward to our next visit already!!

Time to put your feet up

We had a few days in the beginning in July and really in enjoyed our stay. The wild meadow is great and the owners are friendly and helpful. A great site for long or short breaks.

SUPERB!

We can only echo everybody elses reviews - lovely site, small but very well kept, very friendly especially Max! Great to have the field for the dogs, especially having a couple of benches to sit on! Our naughty dog also enjoyed going in the field right next to the site as well (not sure if he was supposed to!) Lovely views, very peaceful and toilets and shower kept very clean. Goliath Falls well worth a visit and the Farm Shop in St Cleer is very handy. Can't fault the site, it was lovely! Also worth a visit if you have dogs is the Cheesewring at Minnions, they get fed and watered for free! Very friendly and huge meals!

Fab 4 day break June 2013!

We stayed on this site in our motorhome back in June but our glowing review seems to have disappeared in to the ether! We had a warm, friendly welcome from Gareth along with Max who's greeting was a little too forward for our 2 1/2 year old rescue dog JRT, Poppy! The toilet/shower facilities are super for a CL and for Poppy there was the added bonus of a fenced in dog field which enabled us to try out off lead recall in a contained environment as well as extensive ball play! We enjoyed local walks at Sibly Back Lakes and Golitha Falls as well as a cycle ride into Liskeard (Steep hill or 2!) and the local farm shop 5 mins away by bike - dependant on pedal power, which has some delicious local produce. On route to Sibly Back Lake a nearby neighbour has an interesting collection of vintage signs and tractors in his garage which he enjoyed sharing with us one day. As our break was out of season we were joined by another couple who also had a dog and we have kept in contact and since met up with! The added joys of motor homing! Thank you to both Gareth & Melanie for maintaining such a lovely site and sharing a little piece of their heaven! Thoroughly recommended!

What a beautiful CL!

We've only just finished unpacking after a glorious stay at Hendrifton Farm. We've never stayed on such a welcoming CL - Gareth was there almost as soon as we arrived and pointed out facilities, etc. We couldn't believe the standard of the shower and toilets - the shower in particular was like home from home (and my husband's pretty critical of anyone else's shower!). It's also the friendliest CL we've every stayed on - members from all over the country - and lovely to hear their experiences of caravanning or just life! We extended our stay as the weather was so perfect but due to the popularity of this CL we had to leave sooner than we wanted to. We'll be back again hopefully this summer if there is a vacancy. Thank you again Gareth & Melanie (not forgetting Max) for making our stay such a happy one.
