lovely site

We stayed for 5 nights, lovely site, wish my grass was that green. this is a working farm so expect some disturbance. I recommend the full English in the café next door. Will return next year.

Not as Expected

Pre arrival info all good but that's where it ended. Arrived and picked a pitch then saw another electric hook up plugged in. 2 guys working just behind doing fencing assumed they were contractors as ignored us. Went to the house to see if anyone on that pitch and lad said ask my dad he is working over there. Went over and Andy was working there and said it was his hook up as he was doing work and told us to use another one. That was the extent of the welcome! Grass needed cutting and various piles of dog poo lying around. Fortunately I never use site facilties as the state of the shower and toilet disgraceful. Dead flies in bottom of shower tray floors filthy. Manitou's being driven around past your pitch emptying rubble and the concrete wagon arriving at 7.45am not very peaceful. Yes appreciate work needs to be done but consider your guests! Site not that spacious and then they allow 6 vans there so quite crammed in when the limit is five. Would not return

pleasant relaxing site

Had a super couple nights stay. Can't fault the site and warm welcome. Hardstanding pitches with water taps. Shower and toilet facilities available. Bonus of café with glorious cakes and coffee adjacent. Just what you need for a quiet rest after the hustle and bustle of Blackpool. Some interesting looking places nearby - just a shame Guy's Thatched Hamlet isn't motorhome friendly with a height barrier at its entrance.

Lovely peaceful CL

We stayed for 6 nights at this CL site. The CL itself was next to a field of sheep, it was peaceful and scenic, with amazing sunsets and the pitches were spacious and well kept. The owners sent us useful information via email beforehand, with directions and places of interest, which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, the toilet, sink and shower areas were not very clean and there was a mop bucket full of dirty water at the top of the ramp approach to the toilet/shower facilities for our whole stay, which was very off-putting, so those things marred our stay somewhat. But the pitch itself, the peace and quiet, the scenery and the location, we couldn't fault, and we had a very nice time.

Wonderful little site

Easy to book online (you can phone) Before arrival received information via email with directions to site and another with info of area where to go and eat etc . On arrival Andy was cutting grass made us very welcolme, any issues come and find us we had none. We have just had 7 lovely days there on our leaving day Andy came out and thanked us for going asked if everything had been OK and would we return? We definitely will, ideal base Many thanks for our stay

At moss park

We had a lovely overnight stay here whilst we visited the Blackpool illuminations. The best thing was the fantastic directions Andy gave us. We returned to site in the dark and had no problem even though its unlit country roads. Would recommend to anyone

Great short break

Just had a great short break at moss lane. The weather was cracking which always helps. Great base for starting out. Toilets and shower were very clean. The site was very tidy and well maintained. Had a fantastic full breakfast to set us up for the day. Had a good walk with the dogs to the plough at eaves inn (40 minutes) on a slow walk. Car boot was on as well on the Saturday Which was a short drive. Guys thatched Hamlet also a short drive and a good walk along the canal. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. Nice to meet Andy who popped round to see us. See you all again soon and thanks for a great stay.

Short stay

We recently stayed for 4 nights and we must say what a delight it was . The ease of access was good and the pitch condition was clean and drained well. It is hardstanding, the ground is tough for pegs, but we pitched our canopy on the grass. . There is all you need , dunny, dark water waste, a toilet, shower facility and a cracking little cafe, with cakes TDF. Over all a lovley quite site, only bug is the amount of long legs and wasps, keep your fly screens closed and take a spray can. But we will be back, most enjoyable

Delightful location

We stayed here on our way to the lake district and enjoyed our stop over very much. Super friendly and peaceful but with a nice pub only 20 minutes away so what could be better!!
