One of the best CL views we have found

We arrived in very windy conditions but soon got sited with advice from Neil (what a great chap). Put up awning and soon having a cup of tea looking out to sea from the awning. Used the tea room during our stay, nice food, really clean, nice chat with steven. Site is well looked after with beautifull views etc. we will definitely be using this CL again even though it's a long run from Northampton. Couldn't fault this site, good luck to all that run it,hope to see you all again soon. B & B Northants

SIMPLY THE BEST

We were searching for a centrally situated site in West Cornwall and after reading the previous reviews we decided to give Green Pig Farm a try. Our first contact was with Neil via a very friendly and welcoming phone call, on our arrival we were met by Neil and  he took us to our pitch and briefly but concisely explained the layout and facilities on this immaculately kept site. We pitched our caravan on what can only be described as a well manicured lawn with uninterrupted, stunning views over Mount's bay and St Michael's Mount. Peter and his family have put a great deal of effort into what must be the best CL in the caravan Club. The standard of everything was far higher than even the great reviews lead you to expect, we used the Tea Room that Stephen runs offering freshly prepared snacks and incredible cream teas with the best home made scones anywhere, here again the standard of service and food is very high accompanied by generous portions, great value and a delightful lawned dining area overlooking the bay. There is a field alongside the site for walking the dog, an easy drive off the A30 with a caravan, although near the road very little road noise was heard, nothing disturbing, it rained quite heavily when we there but the site is very well drained and the grass remained firm. We found the location ideal for visiting all points west and south from here. We would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone wanting an outstanding place to stay.

Best Views

We had a warm welcome from the owner on arriving. The most fantastic views one of the best C L sites we have stayed on. The Tea Room was suburb with the must beautiful gardens.  Slight road noise during the day but quiet at night. This site is a credit to the owners. Would thoroughly recommended.

Best view on any CL

This site has the best view from all the pitches I have ever seen on a CL in thirty years of caravanning. The site is large and well mown with generous pitches slightly on the slope. There is an immaculately kept facility area in one corner and a dog walk in the adjacent field. The owner could not be more friendly or helpful. It is in my top three favourite best sites I have stayed on. With the view of course comes quite a breeze and there is no shade. There is a bit of road noise and you do get cars coming to the tea room which probably on most of the pitches you would not be aware of but we were pitched next to the gate. I have only given three stars for ease of arrival as, although the site itself has perfect access, the road from the A30 to the site is very narrow in places with a couple of very tight corners through Ludgvan. At one point we had to back up with the caravan on the back. Please don't let this put you off however as once there you are in a caravanning utopia.

Stunning Views!

What a wonderful site!  The views are truly outstanding overlooking St Michaels Mount which is well worth a visit. The facilities are immaculate and every detail has been well thought through. The grass was short and all the cuttings had been collected. We were very impressed and stayed for 6 nights although could quite easily have stayed longer. It is in an excellent location for visiting The Minack Theatre (a must), Lands End, Cape Cornwall and St Ives none of which is very far away at all. Yes there is a little noise from the B road but to be honest you hardly notice it and don't let it put you off.  Very dog friendly and a field to walk your canine friend in next to the site.  An excellent CL and really welcoming and helpful owners.  Highly Recommended.
