Beautiful, tranquil site.
This is a beautiful, tranquil site which I am a little reluctant to review and encourage more people to come to this perfect location. The site is neat & tidy with stunning views over Mounts Bay and St Michael’s Mount. The site owners are very helpful and friendly whilst being very unobtrusive. You will probably need levelling blocks but we have borrowed them from Peter in past years.We have just left after two fabulous weeks in the sun. Although the weather was very hot there was a pleasant breeze overnight which cooled the site down. Penzance & Ives are very easily accessed by car although the latter is extremely busy (park at the rugby club, £7 for the day) Penzance has lots of shops & 3 big supermarkets for provisions. There are also buses which stop outside the site and go to Penzance or St Ives.
Don’t forget to get an ice cream from Jelbert’s in Newlyn.
Green Pig Farm is a good location for visiting the area.
Very relaxing and peaceful.
Can’t wait to return for our 4th consecutive year in 2023.
