A great stay at Green Pig Farm

Despite its name we didn't see any green pigs during our two week stay! What we did see were beautiful views across to St Michael's Mount (illuminated on Saturday evenings during our stay) and all the way down the Lizard peninsula. Everything was good about our stay at Green Pig and the local bus service was very useful especially given that fares are currently capped at £2. We caught the Land's End Coaster from Penzance and could have stayed on the open top bus for the complete circuit which would have taken approximately 4 hours - all for £2 each. Instead we alighted at Land's End and got back on later so the whole trip was still only £4 each. This made a pleasant change from driving. There was a little road noise (during the morning and evening 'rush hour') but nothing to bother us. A lovely site to stay on and Neil was friendly and very helpful.

Great views, good position and beautifully maintained

We stayed for four nights in July. Booking was easy and there were good directions. It's a great site with wonderful views of the coast and St Michael's Mount. The pitches are generous. There is a slope, but we were warned about that and it wasn't a problem. The site is beautifully maintained and edged with hydrangeas and other shrubs. The site is next to a bus stop and we were pleased to be able to take the bus into St Ives and Penzance. We'd definitely like to stay again. We were a bit concerned about the B road adjacent to the site but we didn't notice it at all.

A PLEASANT STAY

We stayed at the Green Pig CL site a few weeks ago, such a pleasant stay, the site was immaculate and views over St Michael's Mount were amazing. It was also accessible to everywhere, especially with the bus service just outside of the site. Neal was very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back hopefully very soon

Absolute gem of a campsite

We’ve just got home from 2 weeks at Green Pig farm. What an absolute gem of a campsite! Amazing views, Neil is really accommodating and his local knowledge really useful, quiet but very well maintained site. We have stayed at sennen cove for the last 4 years but their prices have pushed us to try somewhere new and we are so glad. We will definitely be returning 💖

Well maintained and a warm welcome

Stunning views of the sea and St Michaels Mount. The family who run this CL know the area well and are very welcoming. A lovely place to stay. Would certainly come back again.

First class

Lovely site with amazing views over the bay. On the bus route to Penzance and St Ives if you have a motorhome. Made to feel very welcome by the owners. Almost perfect just a little road noise during the day from the B class road behind but no problem at night. Would highly recommended booking well in advance.

Fantastic site

welcomed on site by Neil and shown our pitch. He went through site facilities and local bus which you can request to stop immediately outside the site. Fantastic site overlooking St Michael's Mount. St Ives and Penzance easily accessible by bus and car. Train from Penzance to St Ives well worth the fare and avoids high parking costs. Would recommend this site to anyone with own facilities. Well done Neil and family.

Just lovely

We have recently stayed at Green Pig Farm and found the site to be extremely well maintained and really welcoming. Views are wonderful and easy access to both North and South coast of Cornwall. Top tip — catch a bus!! Bus stops are right outside the gates and will take you to St Ives one way or Penzance the other. £2 wherever you go and no parking fees! Brilliant. We have been walking the South West Coast Path and despite the weather managed to walk Godrevy - Porthleven whilst staying here. Zennor has a really great pub - ‘The Tinners’. Thanks Neil and see you again soon.

Great CL site

We have just returned from a two week stay at Green Pig Farm and can highly recommend this site (this is our fourth visit). It is very well kept and has lovely views overlooking Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. The location is ideal for exploring the tin coast down to Lands End and Lizard and up to Hayle and St Ives. The owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful, will definitely be back!

Brilliant CL

This is a gem of a cl in Cornwall. Very spacious , neatly laid out on a well cut lawn with the most magnificent views towards St Michaels Mount. Good location as well for Penzance and St Ives. Lovely dog walking field adjacent. Nice and welcoming owners as well !
