Excellent!

This is a lovely site with great views, well laid out and immaculate. Tim and Dianne are very welcoming and helpful and the site benefits from a close attention to detail - from the excellent toilets/shower facility to the comprehensive tourist information room. Highly recommended, its a mini club site really! It was our first trip to Lincolnshire and it was a revelation and the site is well located for touring and walking with good roads all round.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN CL OF THE YEAR.

Once again another fantastic holiday at Grange Farm.  Visited this beautiful CL on numerous occasions and must agree with the previous review, that this must be a worthy contender for CL of the year.  This CL is minutes away from Greetham Retreat, but in our opinion a much nicer site with so much more going for it. With 2 toilets and a separate shower.  The big difference being they have a fantastic dog walk on site and numerous footpaths directly from the site, a big bonus for all dog owners and walkers alike. The views are to die for and you will not receive a more warmer welcome from your hosts Tim and Diane.  Within walking distance of two village pubs. This beautiful site is a credit to it's owners.  Open all year and Adults only. Peace and tranquility, Heaven.

DONT BE SEDUCED BY TITLE WINNERS NEARBY

This CL may suffer from its proximity to CL of the year Greetham Lodge? BUT in our opinion deserves everyone of the " 5 ticks?". We stayed for 3 nights at the begining of December and received a very warm and informative welcome from the owners. Some of the pitches have been extended but all are hardstanding, spacious and afford really great views across fields towards the Wolds. The site was exceptionally well maintained and the small shower/ toilet block was spotless and was actually heated. Not some small 3 watt heater but heating that actually warmed the rooms. An excellent information room and very easy access. The cherry on the cake was that this site was within walking distance of a very good old pub with stacks of characater and steeped in history, for those of you who like Alfred Lord Tennyson ( Greetham cant do that?) If I had to be pedantic then the access road in front of the pitches is a tad narrow to allow comfortable manoeuvring, but a very very small negative point for a first class CL.The walks from the site and in the area are outstanding, the Viking Way is nearby. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Successful first trip

We picked this site for our first ever caravan excursion based on it's excellent reviews and can only agree with the many positive comments already made. We only stayed a couple of days as a learning trip (which it was !) but really enjoyed the site and surrounding area. As complete newbies to the caravan game our main concern is that we have now set the bar pretty high for future comparisons ! Thanks to Diane and Tim for an excellent first experience.

Very Very Nice

We stayed at this site for a four day period although we would have stayed longer but for a lack of availability, its very popular. Facilities are good and surroundings even better being in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The local pub (The Cross Keys) is a short walk away and well worth a visit with interesting décor some would say unique, the licensees very friendly and very dog supportive, food excellent fish and chips out of this world. Anyway back to Grange Farm, Tim and DIane were attentive but not overly, they were there if you needed them for advice etc. Grange Farm is popular and rightly so, so in order to get in some booking in advance may be required, this would not suit all caravaners. Would I return-yes but I may get fed up if I couldn't get in straight away.

Lovely site

Just returned from Grange farm after spending 5 nights there. Very nice site, just wish that the hardstandings would take your awning as well as your van,(just our preference) but this takes nothing way from the site. The toilets and showers looked to be very clean, we did not use them we always use our own. Tim and Diane keep this site immaculate. This is a site that i would recommend.

Lovely site in a beautiful location

Just returned from a 4 day break at Grange Farm, well what can I say it was perfect, what a find. We only live an hour away but it was a complete break from everyday life. The owners Tim and Diane were very friendly and helpful, the shower and toilets were spotless. The information room was most helpful containing lots of local information including many walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds, also provided was a selection books and DVD's you could loan. The site was so peaceful and set in a beautiful setting with lovely views. There was a field close by to let the dogs off the lead, and lots of nice walks from the site. There are two dog friendly pubs within walking distance and the coast is only a 30 minute drive away. I would recommend Moggs Eye beach for walking dogs. Fish and chip van visits the village on a Monday teatime which were rather good. All in all a great find, a perfect gem of a site, we hope to return soon and for longer next time, thank you Tim and Diane your site is a credit to you.

Puts a lot of caravan sites to shame, let alone CLs

We visited this site for the first time at the end of May 2013 for 3 days and were extremely impressed; a strong candidate for CL of the year. Tim and Diane went out of their way to ensure we settled in and answered any queries we had during our stay. The pitches were all hardstanding and constructed to a high standard and spaciously laid out with grass to the sides. The toilet and showers were always immaculate and there was also an indoor dishwashing area and laundry. The field next to the site has a mown path all the way round, providing an excellent walk for our old dog and linking with a public footpath which leads into the local village of Tetford where there are 2 pubs and a tea room. The highlight of each day was watching the local Barn Owl swoop across the field in front of the pitches, usually around 5.30pm.

7 day stay

Just had 7 wonderful days at this CL. We have visited this site numerous times and this is the best CL site we have ever stayed on, and we have been caravaning for 30 years. The welcome you receive from the owners Tim & Diane is warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a "welcome Board" on your arrival stating your Pitch No. Access is excellent and first impressions is that the site is pristine with well cared for grounds and the views are outstanding. Amenities block is always spotless whatever time of day you visit, with plenty of hot water. Well stocked information room with maps of the area, places to visit, walking routes and places to eat. Opportunity to buy local produce when available. Very reasonable price for the washing machine etc. The 5 very spacious hard standing pitches are immaculately kept by Tim. (owner, - not warden) !!!! Well stocked fishing lake. 3 x 4 star gold self catering cottages if you wish to visit with family. Lovely walks for dogs. This site is in the lovely area of the Lincolnshire Wolds an AONB but also within easy reach of the coast with wonderful beaches. Overall a credit to Tim & Diane who will go out of there way to make your stay a most memorable one. You will definitely return. !!!!!
