'MISTLETOE AND WINE!!'

After an easy approach we were welcomed on to this lovely flat site by Emily, she told us where to find things on the site and she is very knowledgeable about the area, The large gravel pitches overlook a wild flower meadow (when in bloom) and trees with plenty of mistletoe in them, There is a small glass house with maps and leaflets and 'goodies' (edible) for sale. The site is clean and very well kept and it is very convenient having waste water drianage, a tap and ehu on each pitch, 10 units of electricity are allowed in the nightly fee, so if cold weather be careful!! There were problems with the wi fi which were going to be sorted Locally there is a nice walk beside the river, eiither walking down the private footpath from the site or parking in the carpark at the bridge. For any geocachers visiting the site there are some caches around. We drove the circular route around Bredon Hill calling at the local pottery where we had an interesting talk from the owner. There is an ASDA in Pershore and Morrisons in Evehsham. Plenty of places to visit including National Trust. Gdoodleigh Hill CL have a facebook page with up to date info on it Thanks Emily for making us welcome and for thiose considering this CL we are sure you wont be dissappointed

Fabulous

Sadly I only had two days at this lovely site but hope to be back for more exploring soon. Lovely warm and friendly welcome from Emily who was very helpful and informative throughout my stay. A lot of thought has gone into the site which is pristine, great location in a beautiful part of the world.

Great stay, we'll be back

We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay. Emily was so helpful & friendly & the site couldn't be faulted. They have done an excellent job in setting up this new site. Congratulations to Matthew for his vision. Site was very secure with a great walking path down to Pershore so as to keep visitors off the road. Very safe Covid pecautions, which hopefully won't be needed next year! Lots of little extras like information book. Very pleasant to have the views over the large field rather than just the camping area. We loved Pershore with the lovely independent shop with fruit outside & the butcher. Definitely hope to return as there is till more to see in the area, especially after covid.

Fantastic!

Our weekend stay at Goodleigh was just great. Huge fully serviced hard standing pitches. Friendly and informative welcome from Emily. Perfect location 10 mins walk into Pershore town. Definitely one to return to and recommend.

Gem of a site

Just back from Goodleigh-hill CL, what a gem of a site. Can't agree more with all the fabulous reviews of this wonderful site with lovely owners. Easy access, spacious, fully serviced, hardstanding pitches. The site is kept immaculate by Emily and some great touches include the loan of maps with local walks and places of interest plus a cupboard with local produce to purchase. 5 minutes walk to the river and ten minutes to Pershore. Thank you Emily for such a great time.

Very warm welcome

Having been in hospital for some time before corvid this was our first outing since October 19. Emily was very helpful before arrival and resolved any fears we might have had. She even contacted us when some one left early to see if we wanted to add a dayto our say. The facilities were fantastic with a large hard standing pitch on which we could park in any direction we wanted to. She was attentive throughout our stay. Couldn’t want a better site and we will definitely go again.

Fab little gem

Have just finished a week’s stay at Goodleigh Hill. It’s a lovely little site with huge hard standings. Our MH is 8.9m and we easily pitched sideways. EHU and waste water on your pitch. CDP is really clean. There’s a lovely meadow to the front of the pitches. Pershore and the river are all within easy walking distance. There are loads of walks/cycle routes around the site. The CL is managed by Emily who has put her heart and soul in to making your stay the best she possibly can. She has put together very detailed area information and maps and is very happy to chat you through any walks etc. Emily is always available and even brought her guests ice lollies on one of the particularly hot days. We’ll certainly be back in the near future. Thank you Emily.

Perfect

A fantastic CL, Emily & family have achieved a perfect place. From start to finish a perfect experience, nice flat large pitches all with your own services. A small walk into Pershore gives you everything you need, fantastic cycling opportunities right from the main gate, which is secured with a personal keypad number. Plenty of maps & information to use, all located centrally on the site. Thanks again Emily & Family, see you again soon.

This is a very special CL!

We have just completed our first caravan venture since lockdown - with a new caravan - and are lucky enough to have Goodleigh Hill CL within 40 minutes of our home. From the moment we were in touch with Emily we were reassured that everything would work well and we were definitely not disappointed. There are so many aspects to enjoy by caravanners looking for a quality CL in a lovely area. Firstly, Emily is very welcoming indeed. She works very hard to keep everything immaculate, with daily thorough sanitising of any shared equipment eg touch pad at the gate, folder of information, etc and she takes great pride in all aspects of the CL. She happily shares her local knowledge with guests and as a result we enjoyed several local walks, visited a superb local pub/restaurant, and found our way easily into Pershore several times using the path that leads from the CL itself. Perfect for that daily exercise quota! The hard-standing pitches are level and very generous. At the time we were there we enjoyed our view of beautiful wild flowers growing in the meadow close to our caravan. The standard of care is very high at Goodleigh Hill - thank you Emily for making us feel so at home. We know we will be back before too long!

Absolute Gem

We found this gem of a CL through a Facebook group for CAMC CL sites and so glad we did! Although only an hour from our home, we were looking for a few nights of calm at the end of a 2-week tour, post lock-down, around the North of England. Goodleigh Hill was ideally situated with easy access from M5/M50. The site is still quite new but has been immaculately conceived with perfectly level, serviced gravel pitches with flexible orientation of your outfit to use the surrounding grass meadow. Clean & tidy is an understatement. The site is secured with coded electric gate and there is little noise apart from the natural sounds of the countryside and the occasional early tractor. For walking and cycling opportunities, this location couldn't be better with the town of Pershore a short walk away across the Avon and some beautiful villages and fields surrounding. The site's owners could not be more welcoming and helpful with local knowledge and simply making you welcome and relaxed. So it's a 10 from us!
