Just spent 7 nights here and it was very nice , owner's very helpful , we would strongly recommend this CL
New - nice!
Nice spot and well located for Fowey.
Peaceful, good access, well laid out. David & Sarah have obviously worked hard to get this 'open all year site' up and running.
All hardstandings - very good. Basic facilities which is what a CL is all about without being over the top.
15 minute walk down into Fowey but remember if going out late afternoon this time of year- wear something bright and carry a torch. Relatively busy road into town sometimes.
We would return.
Thank you
Best site for Fowey
We chose this CL as it was closest to Fowey and although the roads are quite narrow and hilly, we had 3 nights on this very clean, well laid out site.
We chose the lowest pitch and struggled to get a TV signal, however the wifi was fast enough to allow us to watch the Rugby. Also David had offered to hook us up to the satellite dish. Water and hook-up easy. Good re-cycling and waste disposal with grey water waste for our 7M motorhome.
Quite shaded but quiet and walking the dog meant walking along the narrow road.
David and Sarah were very welcoming and offered some good advice for local visits.

Great CL Site
This is a great site, very close to Fowey circa 1 mile into the centre of the town. Pitches laid out well, lots of space, water and waste close but not to close. Great free wifi was able to stream tv programs, TV reception worked fine using the built in aerial on the top of the caravan, Sat Dish hookup available if required. Access not a problem with our Lunar Clubman SE. David and Sarah were very helpful, made us feel very welcome.
Well appointed new CL
On booking, it was apparent that the couple that own this site would go the extra mile. The site had satellite, wifi, new everything! Nicely laid out and very convenient for a walk into Fowey.
Sarah and David were both lovely people and couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommended, one of the better sites we have been to.

Visit to Fowey CL August 2015
What a wonderful CL. upon booking the CL owners were so helpful. Arrival was easy and arrived with our pitch pre allocated with a name plate to indicate our position. Electric and water service points nice and close, even free WIFI and a Satellite dish and cable to connect to your receiver. Nice layout and lovely secluded position for a CL, only 15 min walk from the centre of Fowey.
The owners came to meet us during our stay and what lovely people they are, very helpful indeed.
Would highly recommend this CL.
Somehere Special
This is a lovely CL amid a variety of mature trees. It's easy to access but once on site you wouldn't think that you are just yards from the road. There is a separate water supply to each pitch. TV reception via satellite dish (lead and if necessary satellite receiver supplied by the owners) and wi-fi are included in the price. The friendly owners go out of their way to be helpful. Being on the road to the Bodinnick Ferry, the site is well-located for walks on both sides of the Fowey river and it is only a quarter of a mile from the Saints Way footpath which runs from Padstow on the north coast of Cornwall to Fowey on the south coast. Being within easy walking distance of Fowey gave us the opportunity to really explore this delightful town. One of the pitches is fully hardstanding but there is plenty more hardstanding in front of other pitches where some motorcaravans parked following the heavy rain we had during our stay. Recycling facilities and CCEP earned full marks from us. All in all, Fowey CL is somewhere very special.
Foweys Hidden Gem!
We arrived at this beautiful wooded haven in our motorhome and parked up with ease in the well laid out pitches. The facilities and grounds are very clean and tidy. Our hosts called over to welcome us and checked we had all we needed which was nice. The tranquillity and beautiful scenery of the site was very relaxing. We then took a 20 min walk into glorious Fowey. Lots of lovely restaurants and quaint small streets with wonderful interesting shops and pubs. The river looks right out to sea and is gorgeous with all the little boats sailing around in the sunshine. There is a lovely walk along the waters edge down to a pretty beach too. We came back late in the evening and you do need a torch as the lane back is dark naturally. Overall we recommend a visit here Summer or Winter as would be nice in the little old pubs with a real ale and perhaps a bit of Christmas shopping and some amazing coastal walks. We look forward to returning. x
Beautiful New Site Easy Access to Fowey
We loved our stay at this site. We received a warm welcome from the owners and local information. The site is around 3/4 mile from Fowey which is very scenic and has lovely independent shops, resturaunts and pubs. Lots to see in the area. We hope to visit again and extended our stay, as the site was so well placed and situated in a wooded area.
