Fantastic site with really friendly owners

One of the best cl’s we have been to, so pretty and tranquil, the site is immaculate, spacious with good sized lawn area for each pitch. Alison puts out a daily selection of home grown produce, which we sampled several times for a minimal fee, was very nice. We were lucky to drop on to a really good week of weather, got a bit hot towards the end of our stay. Alison let us borrow a sun shade on our last day because it was too hot for our 2 Golden Retrievers, that sums Alison & Brian up, they are very attentive to their guests needs. What a gem of a site.

Superb adult only Site

Just returned from 6 nights on this excellent site, the owners could not be more friendly and helpful and have thought of everything to make things easy. They are rightly proud of their site and so they should be. We were there for a restful break and that’s exactly what we got, unfortunately health meant we could not do the walks around here but would think there would be plenty of opportunity for that. Much Wenlock is not to far away with a selection of shops and a Spar for basic shopping, but do need a vehicle to get to Shrewsbury or Ludlow but all within reach. Anyway just to say if you want that area try them , you will not be disappointed. Thank you for an excellent break.

Perfect and Peaceful

I think everything has been said about this site on previous reviews, Alison and Brian were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble, we stayed for 3 nights and wish it had been longer and will definitely return

Absolutely perfect

Very easy access just on outskirts of Much Wenlock. Very warm and friendly welcome by owners on arrival. The site is small but perfectly formed. The pitches are all hard standing but have their own piece of lawn, their own tap, bins, waste pipes and electric hookup. Beautiful flower borders all around, no toilets and no children. This site is a little treasure in a lovely part of the country with plenty to see and do nearby. So glad we came, will definitely come back!!!!

Beautiful, Peaceful CL

There’s no need to extol the virtues of this CL as it’s all been said in previous reviews. Just had ten days at this beautiful CL welcomed by Brian & Alison. Ideally situated to explore the lovely county of Shropshire. Would definitely recommend and hope to return sometime in the future. Thank you Brian & Alison 😊

Perfect!!!

We have just had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at this wonderful little site. Large, fully serviced, hard standing pitches, each with its own manicured lawn. Some of the pitches do have sloping ground but fear not, the hosts, Alison and Brian are really helpful. Our hook up lead wasn’t quite long enough but we were able to borrow one from them. They also provide grey waste pipes and each pitch has its own rubbish and recycling bins. Lots of really helpful info on the information board. We even bought some of the home grown vegetables. The cost of our stay averaged out at £21.50, ridiculously cheap for a fully serviced pitch. It’s plain to see that the site is the owners pride and joy. We will definitely stay again in the future

Fabulous site

Just returned from 3 nights at Firs Cottage: we had booked for 2 but needed no persuasion when told we could stay an extra night. As others have said, this site is a gem: peaceful, beautifully maintained, the most helpful owners we have ever encountered, and all within a gorgeous part of the world. We are already looking to return in October.

It’s the finer details that make it a wonderful site

Over the last few years we’ve stayed a quite a selection of CL’s, some good, some not so good and also some excellent ones. Firs Cottage CL comes into the latter bracket. It’s just the extra little touches and organisation on the site that makes it stand out. As others have said, the pitches are fully serviced but also have their own waste bins. The site is so well laid out so the caravans/motorhomes don’t overlook each other. The grassed areas are the greenest I’ve ever seen!! The flower beds and bushes are lovely. There are a couple of rustic seating areas on the grassed areas which have little vases of fresh flowers on the tables. There is a basket of salad/vegetable items for sale from out of Alyson & Brian’s garden. Electric is metered and paid for at the end of the stay. We were there for seven nights and our total usage cost just above £16. We will certainly return if we can manage to get a pitch. Thank you Alyson & Brian.
