First class C L.

After a four night stay I can completely endorse the previous reviews. Set in a peaceful and picturesque location with many country walks on the doorstep this is a great asset to the CL network. It is well maintained and with carefully thought out facilities . The (new) owners are the perfect hosts being helpful and friendly without intruding. Special thanks to Brian who "went the extra mile" when one of my dogs lost herself while out walking. I only hope there will be room when I find time to return.

A lovely site, lovely owners, peaceful and quiet!

We arrived in an absolute downpour of rain, nevertheless as soon as the rain eased off the owner came out to welcome us and guide onto our pitch. We stayed for a week and the owners were amazingly helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The site is beautifully kept and neat and tidy. There are nice little finishing touches such as a anti-bacterial hand lotion at the CWP and dog waste bags and a little bin for the waste. There are walks straight out of the campsite up the lane into the hills with good views. We would definitely recommend this site and hope to return again in the future. Congratulations to Brian and Alison for achieving such high standards in the five months they have owned the site.

Excellent As Always

This was our fourth visit to this excellent CL since 2014 but the first since Brian and Alison took over in April 2017.

Everything possible is done to welcome guests and they have even managed to introduce a couple of improvements - including removing one of the gates, which did make entering and leaving the site a little tight. It is now absolutely fine. Another nice touch is that a soap dispenser is placed at the chemical toilet emptying place - never seen that before!

This is a really lovely site, quiet and beautifully maintained, in a delightful area.  The last owners Stuart and Sue were fantastic hosts - Brian and Alison are continuing that tradition.  It will not disappoint anyone.

Much to Delight

We stayed 10 nights during August 2017. The site was well maintained, quiet, and ideally situated for exploring Shropshire. Loved it! Loved it! hope to return soon.

A little Gem

If you appreciate a warm welcome, a clean, pretty, quiet and well laid out site this is one of the best you will find. We greeted and by both Alison and Brian and it was clear from the outset that are 4 night stay was going to be a pleasant one. Even the dogs got a fuss. The site is sheltered and fairly level. Careful positioning of the van on the large hard standing means the van can be easily levelled. The grass is lawn quality. Mains water to every pitch is a rarity on cl sites. The waste disposal is embraced by flowering pots and would you believe hand sanitiser! A taste of things to come when you catch site of their garden. It's beautiful. Even the waste bins have the personal touch of hand written signage . There is a dog disposal bin and free issue dog bags. Alison showed us a dog kennel they are renovating in their garden and will be offering a dog sitting service in the near future. P The information hut is stacked out with useful info and things to borrow and buy. Some lovely walking from the site and plenty of nice places to visit in easy driving distance. Brian pointed us in the right direction on many occasions We were left alone but they were always at hand to offer advice or assistance. We will be returning to this site again and again. Friendly welcoming site.

The first thing to say is how welcoming and friendly Alison and Brian are. The site is quiet, well maintained overlooking their beautiful gardens. It is far enough from the road to avoid traffic noise. Pitches are hard standing and well spaced. The site is very close to the Wenlock Edge footpath, however we didn't manage to find a route to it on foot due to the fast traffic. There are car parks about a mile in either direction giving access to the path. There is easy access to the lovely local towns of Much Wenlock, Church Stretton, Bridgenorth and Ironbridge. We will definitely be back.
