Hi.  We are new to caravanning this year and have decided as the kids are now grown up we would like to spend christmas and new year away in our new van, perhaps meet some new friends.

Has anyway got any ideas where we could go?  We dont mind travelling in the UK.

We did Christmas 2 years ago at Newcastleton Dumfries and Galloway and had a fabulous meal at the Grapes with Gail and Peter as hosts, too much food, about 7 courses and reasonable too. The site is an AS only 30 pitches but lovely shower rooms and walkable to the small town with 3 pubs all dog friendly. Highly recommend site and pub. Happy Christmas!!!

Walkable? Only a hop, step and a jump. Very friendly village
