Hi.  We are new to caravanning this year and have decided as the kids are now grown up we would like to spend christmas and new year away in our new van, perhaps meet some new friends.

Has anyway got any ideas where we could go?  We dont mind travelling in the UK.

Hello Ken and Lorn. Welcome to Club Together. My wife and I are spending a few days over Christmas at a CL near Looe in Cornwall. If you are prepared to travel down that far then let me know and tomorrow I will give you the phone number and you can ring the site regarding pitch availability. Have a happy adventure.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you @johndailey do you have a link to the site you mentioned please so we can check it out and see what is there. Thanks?

Thank you all fir the best wishes.  We seem to be having problems finding somewhere to go that still has vacancies.

Will be checking out ross park tomorrow, but it seems hillhead and cromer are both full and bridlington while a nice site is a tad too close to home.  We rather go away further than somewhere we can get to in less than an our.  Especially as we are stored in whitewater caravan club site.

Has anyone got any  other ideas?

Write your comments here...01503 240486 is the phone number that we used. It may be a farm house so be prepared to ring a few times in case they are out working. Good luck.

May be difficult to get in if there's snow and ice about, though.

No, don't do Club sites at peak season prices. Much rather be on a CL over the holiday periods.

What is the Social life like on a CL? We are hoping to meet a few peple and make new friends which is why we were thinking of CC sites.
