Goodbye

Never been a regular poster on this forum.Finding it hard to believe this operating platform is flaunted as an upgrade. Will have a sabbatical until springtime  (ish) .If when I next look in it is not improved it will become a permanent severance.

I am going to have a bit more of a rummage around today but I think I  too am going to have a couple of weeks off to see if they can sort this execrable mess, otherwise it will be time to jump ship.

This forum software is awful and clearly unfit for purpose.

I cannot understand why the Club have tried to reinvent the wheel and not simply use one of the off-the-shelf proven forum programs that are available for minimal cost. 

I'm sure the regulars will love it but I think it's a mess.

Will look again in the new year to see the improvements !

I'm a regular. Be assured I most certainly do not love it.

there will be a few on here who think the new software is wonderful and defend it to the last. --- Not many !

 BB has made a decision based on his opinion. It's his choice !!

While I personally think the new forum will  improve over the next few months, eventually coming  up to the standard of the old one, it will never be the "All Singing All Dancing" forum which most experienced  forum users have come to expect. 

So that said, we have all been using the old forum for years so therefore we should have no problem using this forum once it is brought up to the standard of the old one.

Hate  to  admit  it  but  I  have  to  agree  with  Old  Rocky,  I  threw  a  paddy  when  one  of  my  attempts  to  post  told  me  I  could not  do  it,  then  bunged  it  in  16 ( Sixteen  )  times.  But  I'm  back  &  no  more  grumpy  than  usual  --  Keep  on  Keeping  on  for  a  month  or  so  'til  the  whole  thing { including  ME  } has  a  chance  to  settle  down,  please.
