When the club announced it's name change there were dozens of "new" posters putting their view ,now it has quietened down why aren't these posters carrying on with posting and joining in with other discussions ?????and the funsmile

Their "lurking" waiting for an explanation from Grimstead as to why it was needed  when apart from a few, the reception  to the announcement was a resounding WHY? on here and the much advertised Face achewink

Agree the new posters dont seem to have stuck around long but several regulars have gone missing too - perhaps died of boredomwink

......or put off by the mundane posts of the few who are obsessed with the sound of their own keyboard?

I think it is a fairly standard response. Folk are always much more likely to moan about something being bad than good by a factor of at least 10 to 1. It does however show what an ill thought out concept the rebrand was, in that it attracted more negative comments from new posters than in all the time I have been on CT. Even the new web site roll out did not come close.

Compared to this time last year the number of postings and posters has plummeted. I always enter via latest activity I couldn't keep up last year this year it's like watching paint dry.

Yes plenty of activity be it new and old posters with rebranding. But that's been flogged to death, it won't change back, little interaction on any sensible point raised by HO replies. Perhaps seen by many as not worth the effort?

Have people not got questions to ask now? Can't be that they're finding answers via the search facility - can it? 😉

The wonderful new website? Very temperamental and not user friendly forum? Certainly lots of established posters not now but then that seems to relate to website update - stories lost photos if moved, reviews lost to mention but 2 items some have certainly voted with their feet for CT if not the club.

Who knows? Shame but another fact of life within the 'Club'.

It seems a shame that many of the posters whom we had not seen before only use Club Together as a means of protest. It was the same with the COTY TV programme. Whilst the facility of Club Together is there to allow people give their views it does tend to devalue those on here who are here  offering good advice and information to their fellow Club members.
