I have just returned to caravaning after a 25+ year break and have now done our first trip. I started using CT to ask a few questions and have had some great help from some members, Thank you for the help.

I must say though that there seems to be a few on here that are quite intolerante of newbies to the point of rudeness.in my opinion.and this is very off putting, I think in every post (apart from my introduction one) I have participated in there has been at least one reply relating to my post which I feel is just dam rude/arrogant.

Not too sure I will continue on here at the moment?

Just how I see it ?

I do wish that people would realise what a nice gentle forum this is.  There are never any significant disagreements, arguments or bad feelings.  It could be neatly described as the pensioner's genteel tea social, where over -sensitive people sometimes go in the huff over nothing.

Of all the forums I knoww  , this is the most open, gentle and safe.

So stop all this whining about this forum, there is absolutely nought wrong with it .Smile

Cheers. .  K

This is my point, not very helpful is it " whining" "over sensitive"

Ian, don't take the bait!

Could not agree more AD most people are genuinely trying to help and be polite, although at times we all probably say something that could be deemed offensive to someone. The only difference is that there are an odd one or two who try to wind up deliberatly but they are usually easy to ignore and get on with enjoying the forum.Laughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

Hi Milothedog,

I’m sorry that your experience on Club Together has led you to start this thread. We do try to keep CT a friendly, constructive place. Please know that if you feel you are ever being mistreated or if you would like to bring anything to my attention, you can use the ‘report’ button or send an email to me at community.manager@caravanclub.co.uk .

The others in this thread are right, always best not to feed the trolls, but do report it to me.

Thanks everyone for showing Milo what a friendly place CT can be! Laughing

Always a pleasure to let people know how nice, gentle, refined and friendly this forum is. Thats why we, the decent posters always compliment the forum and those running it at every opportunity

IMO there's no need for disagreements or lack of politeness. people can surely get their views across without using impolite or poor language.

As I said before, This is the most gentle forum I know.

I agree with the forum manager  " Never feed the Trolls"  I never do, not any of them.  It's been part of my profile for years now.

Cheers     K

I suppose there are always bound to be people that are not happy unless they're having a go at someone, all you can do is take it with a pinch of salt! Just keep posting and enjoy!

In the very early days CT was like a blood thirsty battle ground. Thank goodness we have moved on.

Even at its most combative, thids forum has resembled a vicarage tea party. It woulld seem that some of you have had a very sheltered life. Not that I endorse such behaviour.
