PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

I have just logged in today and am faced with EVERY section and EVERY thread showing as NEW. Is it just me?

Posted on 04/04/2018 15:16

Maybe they are working on things now! Something odd is happening during my use this session - eating my words on posts, not on others, typing way ahead of the cursor then in front, even changing some emoji things to ones I have never seen. Who knows? Will we ever be informed?

Edit I've tried looking at the fb page. Hard to follow conversations when they are lots of replies is just one issue. Help with advice ridiculous. Personal opinion only 😃

New Posts are a bit strange as you would think they would only show from the previous log out? I tend to go by the dates and if it's today's date I have a look if its older I tend not to.

I think it's quite important that the profile/avatar photos are working, these are used by everyone who signs up to CT and the majority who use a profile for reviews but don't use the forum. It must be frustrating for new users to find their profile pics are rejected.

I'm not sure how FB etc will fare in the future, it might still be better to get the club web site up and running well in all sections.

I am a member of the Carthago Owners Club and it is a closed group on FB.

While there are meny contributions, there is really no structure, ne sensible search that I have found and threads merge into one long string...

ok as chat type of forum but as a source of problem recording, solving and documenting, no...

blooming hard work....

DavidKlyne,  Thank you David for you post.  I do hope CT does not disappear as the questions and informative answers are extremely helpful to myself and many others I expect in a format that is reasonably easy to find & follow when needed.

On Wirral  CP and whilst having no problem accessing website to read/post on CT when I try to make a booking I get a message that "caravanclub.queue-it.net unexpectedly closed the connection."

Not good for business!

I got a picture of the orange men when I tried to make a booking but two minutes later it worked.

At around 7.30am this morning I could read posts and threads,  slowish to load, but every time I went to log on I got the essential maintenance lego men. About 15 minutes later log in worked 😲

Club has just popped up my my fb page, as a suggested post, comments on the link by members and non members - some say they thinking of joining so I know 😉.  Some comments on pricing.  Individual replies to each by named staff. Oh that CT warranted the same dediation 😢😢

Of course now I want to copy the comments it doesn't appear 😤😭

Would these men be the offspring of David Dickinson??
