PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Sometimes by trying to access one you end up in the other.

I think DK said he'd found it better not to close a duplicate thread because this was the result.

So has anything really changed.  These two posts are still 'screwed up' and accessing the locked one gives you access (sometimes) to the other.................. which is exactly how it was before!

Sorry guilty as charged! As there were no replies, at the time, to the duplicate I locked but clearly that had an effect on the main post so I have unlocked it now. Not sure how the replies ended up in the one I locked!!! We are still obviously waiting for a fix.

Duplicate threads were supposed to have been stopped by the locking of the submit button after it had been pressed once. They seem incapable of even getting the fixes right.

How about duplicate posts?

That was a very successful fix. The only problem it only solved the issue of people posting duplicate posts in discussions but did not extend to duplicate discussions being posted. Given that they know the answer it's difficult to understand why it's taken so long?

Notwithstanding the assurances on Faceache that prior notice would be given for website downtime, I see that we had "Essential Maintenance" again this morning without any warning.

When are the Club going to admit that the whole system is unstable and the IT team can't fix it?

I was on the other club's web site this morning and they were having problems too. No advance warning either so I suppose it can't always be planned in advance.

Hope the duplicate posts will be sorted, especially in reviews where it frequently happens.
