PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Today old posts have been resurrected from three years ago and four years ago, (WiFi in the New to Caravanning and Touring Section, and Camperplaces in Holland in the Overseas section).  My reply today to a post in the 'Caravans' section appears there, but also appears as the latest reply in the 'Ask the Expert Live' section.

Club site reviews. Is anyone checking these? Multiple repeat reviews are still appearing. Three repeats for Ferry Meadows just now. The problem is getting worse not better.

Is it time to start a new snagging list to try to establish some priority issues that need most attention from the obviously scarce resources available for work on CT ?

As I started this thread almost six months ago and scant regard has been paid to the issues raised, It seems a complete waste of time to start another one. They clearly have no intention of addressing these issues.

Forest, im afraid ive been asking for a simple 'to do list' for ages.

something that folk can refer to, to understand when a particular issue is scheduled to be fixed/implemented.

at the moment, folk raising issues dont even know if it has made the issues list, let alone when its likely to be fixed.

CT IT may have a project management process but it certainly doesnt involve keeping the customers in the loop.

back in the day, Id Have been skinned alive for hanging my customers out to dry on a non-tested load of cack like this system....

we have many unsheduled CT outages but no-one (perhaps outside CT) has a clue what is supposed to be fixed by that specific release.

even the cheapest bit of internet software these days gives users an overview of what is changing if you accept a specific update, we have no idea.....i wonder if anyone else does?undecided

If, after 5 months, this forum (and I don't care if it is called something else, it is a forum) hasn't been fixed, then there can be only two reasons why not. The first is that the club either doesn't have the inclination or the money to fix it. The second is that who ever is trying to fix it, really hasn't got a clue. In my opinion, the second is probably nearer the truth.

I posted a reply today and it now seems to be in two different sections at the same time.

Forum is not recognised by HQ.

Problems, problems, problems. Everybody has them but everybody fixes them, so why not the club. The problems we are talking about are not new they are years old.

When it has to be taken down for maintenance so regularly and for such long periods, something is seriously wrong. At least there is a noticeable increase in speed after last night's downtime but as usual there won't be an explanation.

I posted on the Facebook page following their assurances at the beginning of the month that we would be given prior warning suggesting that it was, yet again, a firefighting exercise. Unsurprisingly there has been no response. In addition to ignoring the membership on their own site they now appear to be ignoring the membership on Facebook as well.

This topic has been locked, no new replies can be added.
