PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Has anyone else noticed anything odd about 'Ask the Expert'?  It actually shows the time and date of the latest post added to the forum!

Here's what it says now (at 7.42 am by my clock)

Ask the Expert - LIVE
Ask the Expert is a feature we offer where nominated experts will answer your questions live on a given topic. Post your questions here and they will be answered when our experts are live. (Please note that this room is not for general discussions.)

When I added my post to Snagging List (this one) it changed to:

and now because I commented in the John Hurt post:

It's been happening for several days, Val. I posted about it here a while back.

I find it quite useful as a way of seeing what the last post on the forum was. Maybe it's the latest initiative. cool

Another repeat post!! Not your fault TW but it's the system which is so slow. And Dave is complaining about a sticky that might not get used that often. These repeat post are taking up a lot more computer space.

Windows 10

Always informs me of cookies - I press accept; asked again when next and every other time I log onto site.

Trying to book tip in Europe.  Cannot put in I am flexible of my dates - will only take specific dates on the search page.

Does not always respond to when searching - site gets stuck.

When you do get some dates back if some of the dates requested are not available you cannot see which days specifically so difficult to adjust booking around these dates.

UK booking poor - lots of screens, difficult to read needs to be like old system.

Whole site is really really frustrating - generally a step back rather than forward.

Sorry but wholly disappointing "upgrade" and poor project management.

When returning to the "Discussions Page" via the "discussion" button from anywhere within the forum, The time taken to perform this function  is becoming longer and longer. ----- On any operating system and on any hardware.

Number of actual posts in a thread bear no resemblance to the number of posts indicated in the section listing.

Is there any likelihood of this website behaving in a halfway normal way this side of hell freezing over?

With regard to the 'Ask The Expert' section.  If you look at the section having not signed in, the only thread visible is 'Please Read Before Posting in this Section'.  However, if you sign in you can then see all the other posts, including the Archive section.  Does anyone else get this?

Without signing in I can see Ask The Expert Live which contains migrating new posts on CT. When I sign in I can see the two expert threads (the second one is Archives) but not the instructions "please read."

Don't have time to check 22 pages to see if this is a repeat...

No 'search for new cl's' option.

CL's...When looking at 'facilities on site' it does not say when there is hook up.

This is only mentioned on the right hand side.

Launching a new website and expecting your customers to vet it for you is totally unnacceptable.

Not bad on my laptop Windows 10 Firefox.  Having said that I do clear cache fairly regularly.
