PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Hi David,

Those 'scroll bars' are the result of a different fix (not Club Together related), we are aware of them and we are testing a fix for these.

Don't worry they're not permanent!

Thanks,

Permanent or not, the fact that they appear when unintended indicates poor underlying design of the site.

8am and 8 pm....how odd, other sites email on the posting of a new post!

If you are lucky enough to get the very delayed Notification email and click on the link, you are taken to the first page of the discussion and not to where you last posted.

If you want to comment and post, you have to log in and on doing this you are NOT taken back to the thread but have to stare at your profile.  The previous website took you straight back to the discussion once you had logged in.

Seems another step backwards like a notification email at 8am and 8pm.  We log in the late morning and never at 8pm in the evening so by the time we log in by 10am we have 2 emails telling us the same thing?  Confusing?

Well another day goes by. It is now well over a month since the new web site was introduced and two weeks since we were promised a list of bug fixs and we are still none the wiser as what will be corrected and what won’t. There is no objectivity to this thread, it’s largely a one way conversation. The user friendliness of the CT pages is a load of poop and while the Club has an excellent media for keeping members informed, it chooses to treat them like mushrooms starving them of information needed to keep them interested enough for the site to flourish. Is it a lack of confidence by the Club/IT  staff to rectify matters? To do so may expose them to even further ridicule?   What ever the answer, it can only lead to suspicions of not much is going to change.

I’m losing the will to read the threads on here let alone respond.

Please bring back the old version it was so much better, whoever built this site conned the club money for old rope it's so basicfrown

Yes, I would love to know who did the new site and how much they charged...they could have left it unchanged and used the money for something useful...

A thread with 5 posts flagged up as 9 new. This bunch of clowns can't even do simple arithmetic. Whoever let them lose on a website?

I have been a fairly prolific and, I hope, constructive and interesting  poster since the inception of the original forum. I am rapidly losing patience with this disastrous excuse for a website. Unless I see a major improvement in both communication from the management and usability of the site within the next few days, I shall be giving up.
