Snagging List

I have been a member of CT since the very beginning. More of a reader than a poster, but where I could offer a contribution I have done so.  Under the old system, I could press the reply button, and if I wasn't logged in, I was taken to login and then bag to the thread I wished to comment on.  Under this new site you go to profile after logging in.  Totally useless.  The more I use the new site the more I dislike it.  I feel like giving up with CT all together.  I don't think I have ever come across such a user unfriendly website.  

Perhaps it is device related brue. They are certainly not working properly on the iPad.

I second that, Steve. I detailed a day or two ago how the flags were sticking despite a new login but I also find some new posts aren't flagged at all.

It's not a major issue though, especially compared to the near total unusability on an iPhone. That is a major step backwards and beggars belief.

Suggest those involved in remedying this website concentrate solely on the catastrophy visited upon CL owners first, second and third. The rest of us can wait.

For those unaware of their problems pay a visit to the CL threads. Make your hair curl.

New/unread posts marker not showing ... AGAIN.

Hands up those who think we should call for Nick Lomas's resignation at the next members meeting.

Has anyone else noticed anything odd about 'Ask the Expert'?  It actually shows the time and date of the latest post added to the forum!  

Here's what it says now (at 7.42 am by my clock)

Also noticed that different threads appear & disappear from there for the past few days. No affect to the content of  threads that I have noticed but I may be wrong.

The website is a TOTAL SHAMBLES and senior management are not taking responsibility.

Totally agree with the iphone comments TW. If I was waiting in the doctors, dentist or something like that, I used to amuse myself on CT. Now I read a magazine.

It's been happening for several days, Val. I posted about it here a while back.

I find it quite useful as a way of seeing what the last post on the forum was. Maybe it's the latest initiative.
