It's a sad day

When one of our Forum members has resigned from this Forum namely Tigerfish, I can understand why, and the sooner the Club realises a lot more will take the same action,I am not going to spell out what is wrong as the Club should know, suffice to say that there are many new members on CT that have only joined to pick a fight on a personal nature, I know as I have had abuse myself..

I joined this Forum in its infancy and many have fallen by the wayside due to Threads being closed by the Cyber Police for ridiculous reasons, in the early days everyone was friendly, but not any more, the Club should take a look before tis Forum goes down the Pan and more members call it a day including myself.

I have been in touch with other members who I have met and they think the same as me, I will give it a little longer to see if things improve and then make a decision, in the meantime Good Luck Tigerfish, I believe  many on here support you,and you will be sadly missed for your excellent Threads and Posts

I'd better sign off now before this Thread is closed, as the Club do not like criticism

Happy Easter

It strikes me that the word "forum" in its self means basicly we all join in discussions involving our hobby witch is of course carravaning, ok we have all sorts of interrests which we talk about in the awning or on rallies or the pub, even on the menu we have fun, sports, wildlife, pets, and general plus more so why is it so frowned upon if a member is castigated becuase it wasn't deemed caravan related, it seems to me that all the interesting forumites have sadly feft only to be replaced by self oppinionated purple star chasing bore's

I don't think it has anything to do with PC, discussion on certain topics are not allowed on this (caravaning) forum, politics is 'un-PC' but is still not allowed. The club ownes the forum, they decide the rules which you agree to, if they wanted to stop posts on ice cream that's up to them isn't it?

Drat that’s my next post on soft versus scooped ice-cream scuppered.Yell Laughing

Well I don't really care if tiger fish goes or not but I am now intrigued as to what was in the easter egg post!

TG's post had been pulled before I saw it too, but I suspect it was to do with this

What post of mine got pulled? which thread? I'm not aware of anything I've posted has upset someone. Please do tell me so I can review it and apologise if need be.

Not to worry TG, it must have been fat finger syndrome. Someone pressed the G instead of the F.Laughing

I trust you're not placing all purple star posters in that group, H. DSB will be very upset.

This forum, being probably the worst (technically) on the net,  and obviously will frustrate the most dedicated member.....but it is only a forum for goodness sake!!!

It may even improve one day then the martyrs can returnHappy

PS. Haven't read most of the post as I believe I've heard it all here beforeSurprised

I, like TF have been abused by individuals on this forum for reasons that still bewilder me? Most of the comments have been nothing to do with my threads, but there are members who just like to wind people up or think they know better.

One member actually reported me to Isabella head office about a copyright infringement, then sent me a personal message that they were to take action against me. However, no action was taken because this member got his facts all wrong and made a fool of himself.

However, his remarks stayed with me for many months because he was not aware that I have mental disabilities. Now I do very little in the way of supporting this forum to help others.

AHM, I'm very sorry to learn of your experiences. May I suggest that having your email and website address in your profile may have made it too easy for that individual. That's no excuse for his behaviour but you might do better to maintain a level of privacy.
