I visit 3 other caravan forums, read alot and post infrequent where I think I can add value. I have been a member of this forum from nealy the start but in the past 6/12 month it has become quite a nasty forum at times

I must say the sniping on this forum between posters is probably the worst I have come across, and in the real world would be classed as bullying in some instances.

I dont know how the site is moderated but it does seam that people can get away with alot of atacking and post drift because of these personal atacks and sniping. It also will put alot of people from posting for fear of getting the same treatment off the same people.

I have not noticed a "gang" of anybody, there are one or two who enjoy a "debate" by "twisting" the facts to try to "win" against what is usually quite clear to the majority Wink

I've seen this on swift talk, but not noticed it here.  In fact I've noticed the opposite here in there are a group of names who are wonderfully helpful.

the little gang of the" Usual Suspects" post

K,  I probably think of the, as you put it,  'the usual suspects' as a totally different group of people than you do, so you may have to be more explicit

Write your comments here...Of course Oneput, happy to oblige.  :- I refer you to my previous post

"It so easy to ignore the dark side of forums, on this one it is the personal insults against an individual which appears to be the only reason that the little gang of the" Usual Suspects" post.

Nope, that doesn't help.

All I can think is that one 'usual suspect' keeps using that term in order to stir things up.

K, let's be a little honest here. You have a somewhat deep rooted dislike of a certain few things that occasionally crop up on here. Teaching and teachers being one of them. Pontificating from your own pedestal doesn't hide this, and trying to throw a cloud of mystery via "usual suspects" jibes only further shows disrespect to other posters. Which is the point of the opening posters case regarding arguments and off thread twists!

Write your comments here.. What makes you think I dislike Teachers and Teaching. I have many family members who are/were teachers and we get on really well.  It seems to be when school working hours and holidays are mentioned in all innocence, that some on here, cannot accept that to those who don't work in schools, teaching can be seen as a cushy little  stress-free pastime.

One thing I think that this forum could do without is the ganging up by the usual gang on any individual poster who happens to disagree with the gang's opinions.Frown

IMO everybody is entitled to their own opinion and as such others should show respect  even although not agreeing with what is being said.

There appears to be a small group of them on there yes.  I think one of them has a Jeep from memory.  There is someone recently who has also been removed by Swift hasn't there.

With apologies to the OP, and my last post on this thread. K, I draw your attention to your OP about schoolchildren and school places. Designed to elicit yet another devisive prod at the Education system and teachers. Not your first, and unlikely to be your last  little dice throw at drumming up at bit of an argument. Game, set and match.

Write your comments here...You are quite right to apologise to the OP. Your attempt to start an argument doesn't work with me.

Might I say that hijacking a thread is not considered good forum etiquet. So I will also apologise to the OP for having to reply to those remarks.
