I visit 3 other caravan forums, read alot and post infrequent where I think I can add value. I have been a member of this forum from nealy the start but in the past 6/12 month it has become quite a nasty forum at times

I must say the sniping on this forum between posters is probably the worst I have come across, and in the real world would be classed as bullying in some instances.

I dont know how the site is moderated but it does seam that people can get away with alot of atacking and post drift because of these personal atacks and sniping. It also will put alot of people from posting for fear of getting the same treatment off the same people.

K, let's be a little honest here. You have a somewhat deep rooted dislike of a certain few things that occasionally crop up on here. Teaching and teachers being one of them. Pontificating from your own pedestal doesn't hide this, and trying to throw a cloud of mystery via "usual suspects" jibes only further shows disrespect to other posters. Which is the point of the opening posters case regarding arguments and off thread twists!

Write your comments here.. What makes you think I dislike Teachers and Teaching. I have many family members who are/were teachers and we get on really well.  It seems to be when school working hours and holidays are mentioned in all innocence, that some on here, cannot accept that to those who don't work in schools, teaching can be seen as a cushy little  stress-free pastime.

One thing I think that this forum could do without is the ganging up by the usual gang on any individual poster who happens to disagree with the gang's opinions.Frown

IMO everybody is entitled to their own opinion and as such others should show respect  even although not agreeing with what is being said.

..There are "opinions" and there are deliberate attempts by a couple of posters start a devisive thread ,and then get upset when other posters who are aware of the "person" will attempt to bring the thread into a more near the truth thread

We've seen several instances of that recently, JVB. When you think about it, those posters are insulting the intelligence of the rest of us as they arrogantly assume we won't see through their ploys and they also think we won't remember they've pulled the same trick time and time again.

Why they should spit their dummies when their games are foiled beats me. Perhaps they have overblown egos.

Write your comments here...But my friend there are posters who never get upset or at the least perturbed by anything written on any forum.  Most experienced forum users accept forums for what they are, a caractature of- and not real life. To most of us, it's like water off a duck's back.

That way we can all weather the insults from wherever they come with alactity.  I know I can.

DD, the same could be said of many, many threads and I fear CC long ago forgot the impression this forum presents to the world. The Champs do their best but, ultimately, management need to wake up.

Write your comments here...Yes I agree , All of the membership should strive to be pleasant and consiterate to other individual posters.

I would also like to propose -  ( no more cliques  ) !!!

Will make for a much more inviting forum.

Cool
