CAMC site fees

Is anyone finding the site fees are becoming unaffordable especially for 2 adults and 3 kids? Over £60 per night in some places.  It's not like we are taking up anymore space or using more electricity. Cheaper to get a hotel with breakfast included and someone makes your bed!

So why not post there unless you intend to deliberately take UK threads off topic?

What is the winking emoji meant to indicate?

How can one answer a post about site prices in the overseas thread when no one complains about them there.

Not trying to take thread of topic just comparing prices elsewhere I did mention UK sites within my original post so not off thread. 😊

Ah, I see. A brief mention of the topic of the thread - CAMC site fees - and then you feel it’s OK to recount your overseas holiday experience which bears no relevance to CAMC site fees.

OK, apart from that, why make a flippant comment in response to a serious point and put a winking emoji in it and then deny you were intending to take the thread off topic? It simply does not add up as the emoji suggests the contrary.

It's not about complaints at all, it's about a valid comparison and there is no point in comparing prices abroad in a UK, and even more specifically a totally club based thread, about club prices.

The OP was asking if for a family of five if they, club prices, are becoming unaffordable, I cannot see that saying prices outside of the UK are whatever answers that question in any meaningful way. The only valid comparison is with other UK based sites.

Going back to the OP, has anyone addressed the part about It's not like we are taking up anymore space or using more electricity?

I assume this is alluding to the cost of the three children?

Well in my view yes there is an extra energy cost, either in the on site facilities or in heating extra water inside the outfit. Not to mention extra any extras for children that might exist, like playgrounds, playrooms. Extra adult people incur a extra cost.

Rowena will be busy with the delete button tomorrow with lots of posts on here then. Same old. It's quite simple to have a debate/ discussion while keeping within the guidelines. If you can't then don't bother posting. Pretty shameful to be fair.

Rather than joke about this sort of thread, wouldn't it be useful to draw the Club's attention (in case the common denominator has been missed) to the fact that this is the umpteenth recent new thread on the same subject, almost exclusively opened by folk I can't remember seeing on CT before.

Whether or not it's the right place to make comparisons with other sites will be for Ro to decide but it certainly seems to me that there are folk who don't usually 'have a moan' doing just that on CT as they feel they need to 'put it out there'....and the hot topic for discussion is plain to see......CAMC site fees.

Indeed but what will he club look at more? Actual site occupancy, that is people actually paying the prices, or rather a relatively few posters from a very unrepresentative sample here. Unless you can prove otherwise that CT is somehow representative of people using club sites?

How many of these umpteenth threads can you remember? Ten? Twenty?

I wonder what tiny percentage that is compared to actual people paying to use club sites?

Posts on here really literally count for nothing, people post prices are 'too high' and so what? Posting on here costs nothing but people actually stopping on club sites beings in the income.

Membership and rejoining are at all time high, what was it 385,000 households? They can't all be members for just CLs/other products.

It would be highly dangerous if the club paid any attention to what is posted here rather than look at occupancy.
