CAMC site fees

Is anyone finding the site fees are becoming unaffordable especially for 2 adults and 3 kids? Over £60 per night in some places.  It's not like we are taking up anymore space or using more electricity. Cheaper to get a hotel with breakfast included and someone makes your bed!

So they may not need those facilities but they may well want/ expect them and are happy to pay for them whether on what some consider "basic" club site or "better" commercial ones.

M, If I wanted facilities, I wouldn't expect to find them on a campsite. I would be looking for something more upmarket than a campsite.

You and I might.

But I thought we were talking about families who'd (newly) invested huge sums of money in a caravan? undecided

"They seem to be there to control the narrative; especially any comment that may be read as a criticism of CAMC, ... "

An interesting comment - as a (now) neutral observer, all I seem to be reading lately is criticism of CAMC, so it's a pretty ineffectual "control of the narrative"! undecided

Exactly, as was posted on how to post on CT a few weeks ago:

Criticism and constructive feedback towards the Club is tolerated, but there is a line between criticisms and complaints. As mentioned in the Community Guidelines "Do not misuse the channels for complaint - if you have a complaint please contact the relevant department directly."

Unfriendly nature towards the Club in this regard pertains to Club staff, we have seen various comments made around site staff, head office staff and moderation as well as questioning moderation as of late in a tone that we don't feel appropriate for a forum that looks to be positive, respectful and polite.

We ask that the same approach is taken when debating with others on the forum, we by no means are looking to censor disagreement or debate,  but we have had a significant increase in the level of reported posts over the past few weeks from users making complaints about the manner in which other's have said things to them on the forum

After reading the community guidelines ,I feel that I can now answer the OP’s question without upsetting the club or members ,    So my answer is

Yes and No , that’s it
