Arrival times

just booked a few weeks at the blackpool south club site .But it now seems that they have altered the arrival time from 12 to 1 o-clock I can go along with that as its a very narrow lane outside so no room to queue with out causeing a traffic jam . My gripe (complaint) is that sites don,t enforce the leave time we have seen people in caravans leaving at 4pm at blackpool and believe it or not 2 leaving southport site at 6.30pm (caravans) you can,t tell if motorhomes are leaving or just nipping out so come on club sites lets have some rules everybody has to stick to in fairness to all members.

Does the club allow baby goats now?

This thread has covered a load of humorous subjects and been good fun laughing. However there has been no agreement on the original subject of arrival times.   The opinions have been split almost equally between those who support the CMC and agree to abide by CMC rules and those who disagree with rules and want the CMC to change to a Company with no rules at all.

Me - I like the idea of organisations having rules and because they have rules, those rules should be enforced by the on-site employees. smile

Hopefully, Fishy, we won't become like that when we get old.

Old? Who’s old? Having fun keeps you young. Better that than being a GOG. laughing

Our sailing club doesn't have paid employees, Every member gives of their time freely. The rules of the club is upheld by all members, failure to do so would mean club.membership being revoked.  ----- Our  Golf Club has paid employees and they enforce the on-site rules fairly and without favour. Any member flouting those rules has their membership revoked.

IMO -There's no reason why the CMC cannot do likewise.
