Oh no!  that is not good!

Mine are usually gone in a  couple of days, but this one is really bad.  No idea where I got it from.  Grand daughter had a  bit of a runny nose when we were there at the weekend, but otherwise have not been in contact with anyone.

Today I went for a chat/interview with the Volunteer Development Manager at Peterborough Cathedral and have been accepted as a Volunteer Welcomer at Peterborough Cathedral.  I start in the New Year. So looking forward to it.  A new challenge. smile

Congratulations Millie, hope all goes well, and you really enjoy doing it.

Don't know how we picked up our cold,, cough and sore throat either 😕 but it's been one of the worst we've had for a while.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I am really looking forward to it but nervous at the same time. Hope it works out OK.

I gather that the virus around this year is really horrible. I do hope you feel better soon.

I'am sure it will Millie. How often will you be volunteering?

It is a long time since I visited the cathedral, but I remember it was a lovely church.

Oh dear, that does not sound good.

It seems very likely that OH will get it too and she is always very badly affected.  If she does, and feels like I have been feeling, then it will be very bad news.

We are due to visit an elderly friend, tried to arrange it for Friday hoping I would be better by then, but she insists we should come tomorrow afternoon, I will have to sit on the far side of the room well away from everyone else.
