Good to hear about Henry! We once brought up a single duckling (the only survivor from an attack.) We called her Isobel but she turned into a drake. We think "she" joined others at a local rspb Insh Marshes nature reserve very near to us in Scotalnd at the time. She made regular solo return visits to our garden.

We had a full fried English breakfast this morning, in the caravan, of two Butchers pork sausages, two rashers of bacon, fried tomato, mushrooms and two slices of buttered toast. After that was a trip to the bank, to bank yesterdays earnings, then back to the caravan for lunch of fish with barbecued potato wedges and greens. This was followed by an afternoon siesta and now watching the tennis on tv in between short showers of rain.

Its a sunny morning here in Suffolk, site is very quiet so slept well. Have plans today for a walk today taking in Dunwich and The Ship Inn. Also see how many birds i can spot, not sure how many I will be able to name though. The CL owners are taking their steam engine to a vintage rally later this afternoon so will take go and take a look. Just love holidays.
I love holidays too, it's good hearing about all the adventures on here.

Write your comments here...Well I did at least get one holiday this year even if it was just six days away at Weston Park National in Shropshire.

The van's on the drive now ready for Saturday's getaway. We've just taken Harry & Lady out for a walk and as soon as we got home they were out of the house to the door of the van. Stupid dogs, haven't got a clue about how long the preparation takes for going away!
